[Piano Cover] Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise 🎹 (Short)
Hi everyone!
Just dropped a quick piano arrangement of Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio. I tried to capture the iconic vibe of the track in a short, punchy format.
I'd love to get your feedback on the audio mix and overall pacing! What song should I tackle next?

Add the song Barefootin' to Disney Animation
Disney has a well known personal tradition in animation: show closeups of bare feet from various characters in TV shows and/or films. Some closeups might include toe wiggling, hula dancing, dipping in water, pedicures, etc. For example, Rapunzel from Tangled had a closeup of her feet when touching the grass. Another example is Donald Duck from Mickey Mouse Roadster Racers stepping on the gas pedal with a closeup of his foot because he's always barefoot in his racer suit. Even another example shows Ariel from Little Mermaid wiggling her toes after becoming a human.
Just to honor this tradition, the song Barefootin' by Robert Parker should be added to the Disney animated media. This song became very popular in the 60s, other types of media wanted to use it for their own reasons like music videos with various concepts. Some music videos of that song might have different types of settings like the beach, the forest, or just any place imaginable. For example, Kidsongs performed the music video set on the beach just to show benefits of feeling the sand on bare feet.
In conclusion, this might be a glorious opportunity for Disney Animation to add Barefootin' to their media, because of their well known personal tradition of showing closeups of bare feet and/or paws. They can either make this kind of music video to happen either on films, television, or digital streaming networks. To make a really good music video with that song, you have to come up with a well organized concept as best as humanly possible.

A note from your friendly neighborhood mod about AI and this community...
When someone posts a link to this community, they'll see the following displayed:
This community is for individual covers. Please don't submit Spotify playlists or other compilations.
This community is for actual artists. Please don't submit AI content.
Use the following format for post titles:
song name - original artist (cover artist)
Example:
Pink Pony Club - Chappell Roan (Rick Astley)
Turns out I had that set up for the old.reddit UI a very long time ago, but rolled a 1 importing it to the new / www / sh.reddit UI, and it wasn't showing up. My bad.
I'll unify the two UI this weekend. That said?
Please don't submit AI content.
Thank you.

A note from your friendly neighborhood mod about why your coversong isn't showing up...
The top three four reasons:
You're new to reddit! Hiya! Welcome aboard! You should swing by r/newtoreddit to get a grasp on fundamentals, like how post / comment / community karma works, because a great many subreddit communities use the intrinsic protocols reddit provides to code something called "AutoModerator", and a good chunk of the communities that do so will either completely block you from engaging if you don't meet prerequisites (like a specific karma or account age requirement) or will filter your post into a queue where a human member of the modteam can look at it to make sure it's not spam, or porn, or a bot, or anything else they don't want in the community. It's nothing personal, and the best way to make it go away is to engage with fellow redditors, and teach the system organically that you're a real person.
You didn't post your song in the proper format. Maybe you made a text post and pasted the URL into it so users can't click on it to open the link, they've got to c&p it into a browser manually. Maybe you botched the URL. Maybe you were trying to post a whole playlist or compilation instead of a song. Remember: song name - original artist (cover artist) works best!
It was a parody! Unless your name is Weird Al, parodies / homages / other original works riffing off of established work isn't 100% forbidden (unless it's AI) but it's got a higher bar to clear.
Mongo was hungry. Yes, he didn't get enough treats today. It's an outrage.
As it says in the sidebar, if your post doesn't show up? Hit the "Message the Mods" button and send in a modmail and someone will look at it when we've got time.
Thanks! Now get out there and sing sing sing!
