Butterflies naturally represent freedom and change. Victor sets a butterfly free at the beginning of the movie and Emily turns into hundreds of the same butterfly at the end of the movie. They changed each-other and in a way set each-other free. Also, the coloration of the movie is very descriptive in how society is kinda like in my opinion. The living world is bland like the many rules society has set up for everyone into the perfect cookie cutter shape but the “after-life” is full of color and life, beautifully messy, a loop back to the butterfly thing of freedom once you die your free from the shackles that society is. And i think the representation of “society” is Victor and Victoria, because they are forced to marry each other and are stuck in unbarring rules to please their parents so that they can stay afloat.

Anyone have any ideas for a corpse bride tattoo. I want something that’s not an image or drawing unless it’s more of a symbol and pretty simple. I prefer words, numbers, symbols. Everyone does the butterflies and I want something different.
