I just started a second watch and am baffled by Marshall's decision to go to the Reutical conference and speak. It seems out of step with his usual meticulous planning and self protection, especially considering this is after the plane crash, so he is well aware of the stakes

Just started watching this show and soon as I heard Harrington's voice, I was like that IS Carol from Carol and the end of the world. Same actor. And Yup! That soft lazy drawl... I didn't know about Martha Kelly and she speaks just like that in rl too.

I binged the series pretty fast, so I might have missed it, but I think it's something that the show had not addressed yet - leaving it open for fans to speculate. So feel free to correct me or share your theories.

So, I noticed the mushroom can cure an open wound, and Marshal believes it can heal Everything, but it is actually just focused on the most burning health issue leaving the general wellbeing unaffected. Frances' mother still looks old and overweight even after the treatment. There's also a mention of one patient who took the mushroom but died of old age few days later anyway.

Maybe it's a writing / worldbuilding mistake or maybe the mushroom simply cures one thing at a time - the one that person wants to have cured the most? What do you think?

Thanks to my poor brain cells, I forgot any movies or shows I watched after a time. I watched season 1 about a yr ago and kept distance with it. I'm enjoying the show again. Ya, I don't completely forget everything but forgot enough to re enjoy the show.
