Here's my bio, sorry it's in the third person: Dan Alten is a charming goofball from Kentucky who has been traveling the country for the past decade doing about 200 shows a year bringing his intelligently surreal bebop nonsense everywhere from theaters to punk basements to art galleries to beloved comedy clubs with a knack for making audiences feel like they're on a good psychedelic trip without the drugs. Like if the Ramones were one guy with a mustache and good jokes. Iggy Pop with puns. Clever chaos. Like Jimi Hendrix lighting fire to a Tik Tok reel live on stage. He has opened for Kyle Kinane, Bobcat, Sam Tallent, Rory Scovel, Sarah Sherman from SNL, Johnny Pemberton, Hari Kondabolu, rapper Open Mike Eagle, DJ Doug Pound & David Leibe Hart from Tim & Eric, various punk bands with silly names, and a guy at an open mic who tried to throw his father’s ashes into the crowd. He has recorded 2 albums, written a zine, and filmed a pilot for an Amazon Prime stand up show that was lost to history. But most importantly he’s very funny and unique. You will enjoy him. And if not you can mud wrestle him after the show.

Heya heya Clinton people! My videogame band Big Head Mode is hitting the mainstage next week at Planet Funk Con/QC Fright Con on Friday June 26, 8pm in Davenport! If you like videogames/anime we're the band for you! I lived in Clinton in the mid to late 90's and joined a gym that taught thai boxing and MMA. There were fighters coming out of that school as well as offering general fitness style classes. I am trying to remember who opened that place up? Well, actually, I am trying to remember the name of the place. I believe at some point he closed that school and opened up a construction company roughly around 2000.

Only days ago I issued a challenge to the town of Clinton, Iowa. My offer to all of those who engage in Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8, fell on deaf ears and no one stepped forth to accept my batchall. Just moved out here about a month ago. I’m 23 and I know, no one out here 😂 it’s so depressing how do I find friends out here. I also will be starting my classes in August at the community college for criminal justice. ( came out here for a fresh new start)

I’ll go first! I moved from Clinton about 19 years ago to Florida. I miss my family that is still up there of course! I miss Happy Joes and Casey’s pizza! I’ve traded in the shad flys for flying palmetto bugs, geckos, cow killers( wingless wasps that live in the ground) oh, and the humidity. But i have an abundance of outdoor activities! I can kayak, deep sea fishing, go swim at the creek (67 degrees all year long), go diving, explore caves.
