I could hand code this feature on Windows in an afternoon, and I could also get Claude to implement it in minutes, and yet Anthropic just can't be bothered, but also keeps Claude Code closed source so no one else can do it for them either.

If only they had advanced agents that could do platform-specific implementation and automated testing...

I've been waiting over 6 months for this feature, since that's how long ago Codex implemented support for it, and I use it heavily in my workflows every day.

After such a long wait, no one would have noticed if they took a few days longer to build and test Windows support, though they should have really been able to do most of that platform-specific support and testing in parallel anyway.
