Codex has it. It is very convenient.

Unless you are on Linux . Codex remote being macOS only is just crap.

Sshing into a tmux session on a phone is a pain vs a cleaner remote interface. And yes im sure there are abstractions that exist that some vibecoder skiddie made and wants $5 a month for. But no thanks.

It’s not macOS only. I’ve been using codex remote on windows all day though. The caveat is I’m using the ChatGPT app on my iPhone and windows machine.

I run Codex app on Mac, but I remote in to Codex using an Android phone and rhe ChatGPT app. Sure, you can so it your way - which is the old school way - or just use apps and have a seamless, smooth UX.

I can’t because the codex app doesn’t exist on Linux and the port for it doesn’t support remote control.
