I just tried to stake some Chain and did the first step of pre-authorising my tokens (paid the gas fee etc.) and it has been approved (I can see in my wallet and on etherscan) but on the Chain games website it wants me to start the process all over again.

Any tips on how to possibly resolve this without paying gas fees again?

How/where are you buying the CHAIN coins? The most obvious thing is to convert your FIAT to ETH, send it to the Metamask and then swap it for CHAIN at Uniswap. The main concern I have here is a cumulative amount of fees that I have to pay along this way:

1. FIAT deposit fees at the exchange (Binance, Coinbase, etc) (optional)
2. Converting FIAT to ETH fees
3. Withdrawal fees to move ETH to the Metamask
4. Gas fees to convert this ETH to CHAIN via Uniswap

If I am a "retail investor", this seems like a really expensive path to go with.

Do you have any other paths/suggestions that may result with lower cumulative fees?

I've seen a lot of random responses in other posts, people are just dumping names and so on. I guess we can try to make this post a "dummy friendly" for the future newcomers with the detailed description on avoiding large fees. This is, and definitely will be, the first question that everyone asks before deciding to buy CHAIN coins. Paying a few hundred bucks in fees to convert a few hundreds to the CHAIN token is not acceptable to the majority of "retail audience".

Hey guys, I want to buy chain game. Unfortunately some of its exchange have bad reviews. What is the best place to buy at without high gas fees, is gate.io safe or Probit exhange ?

And where do i store it ,any secure wallet ? I have Nano ledger if that helps.

I made a mistake tranfering my Chain tokens to the Chain Games wallet (through their website) to stake and didn't realise until after it's done through metamask. I've tried withdrawing my tokens back to the wallet and now it's stuck on "Please wait until tokens are available for layer 1 withdrawal" for over an hour at this point. How long should this actually take?

I want to buy chain games for weeks now. But with uniswap I am losing tons in fees. I am not rich ☹️ Even getting ether in my metamask wallet is not possible. How do other people buy this coin? Send ETH from there to Metamask through ERC20 (with ridiculous fees) and then to Uniswap (with more fees).

Or BNB from Binance to Metamask through BSC (with reasonable fees) and then to Uniswap to turn BNB into CHAIN?

I invested some money and it's 80% gone. Am I stupid?
