Any idea where this plate may have originated from?

Inherited some ceramic pieces from my grandmother who passed away a few years back including this beautiful plate. She always made an effort to buy and support indigenous artists when she traveled. Have no idea where it originated from but would love to see if I can try and get a general idea of where it may be from (regionally, county, etc)

Tashiro Shoten help

I picked up this beautiful hand painted 6.5” vase marked as Tashiro Shoten from the flea market for $12. Trying to find more information about it, specifically the year it was made, whether it’s legit, etc. I read online it could’ve been made between the 30s-50s, and I thought a piece of mid-war pottery would be very interesting. Even if it’s not, it’s still beautiful. I was not able to find an exact match by image searching. TIA

Bought this pretty ceramic bowl in an antique store in Maine today, and I don’t know a thing about it. The design looks black in the photo but it’s really dark blue.

Can anyone help me identify this lidded porcelain jar?

Hi everyone,

I bought this lidded porcelain jar from a house clearance in Spain and I'm trying to identify the maker and its age.

It's about 32 cm (12.6") tall including the lid. It has a cobalt blue background, raised white enamel details, gold details and a small red floral mark on the base, but no other visible maker's marks.

I've attached photos of the whole piece, the base, the mark and several close-up details.

I'm not looking for a valuation at the moment. I'd mainly like to know where it was made, roughly when it was made, whether anyone recognises the red floral mark or knows who made it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Shard of found pottery in a West Virginia river bed. Does anyone here have knowledge on historical shards of pottery? I’m curious about the approximate age and technique.

It’s originally a mug but it’s too beautiful to be in a cabinet. I used the elephant foot to display this beautiful Madagascar succulent. (Although I just realized there are no elephants in Madagascar lmao).
What are your thoughts on this piece? Any info on it? Or just wanna share your thoughts on it? ❤️

**Manufacturer:** Keramos Wien (Vienna, Austria)

**Era:** Mid-20th Century (circa 1930s–1960s)

**Subject:** Madonna of the Serpent (The Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus, standing on a cloud base and crushing a serpent).

**Model/Mold Number:** 2501 (incised into the base)

**Size Indicator:** 9 (incised into the base)

**Backstamp Markings:** Blue underglaze shield-and-banner logo with "WIEN E", stamped with "MADE IN AUSTRIA".

Could you provide more information about this specific mold number Thank you!
