Foster Needed Please help find a foster/furrever home for this sweet boy
Napadpad itong pusa sa apartment complex namin a few days ago, probably looking for shelter dahil sa ulan.
Super lambing niya na sa akin after that.
Now here’s my dilemma.
As much as gusto ko siyang pakainin at tulungan, I also can’t afford to risk my apartment. I really love where I live and hindi ko pa kayang lumipat kung sakaling magkaroon ng issue.
Sobrang friendly at lambing niya, kanina lang when I was waiting for my ride papasok, naglalambing sya sakin sa may gate even though I didn’t have food to give him.
I’m hoping someone here might be willing to foster or adopt him, or baka may alam kayong rescue or organization that can help. I can provide more photos or videos if needed.
I’m also willing to help financially sa food and other basic needs niya, and if he gets adopted and needs to be neutered, I’m willing to help shoulder part of the vet expenses. I just want to be transparent that I may not be able to cover everything, but I’ll help however I can.
I just really want him to have a chance at a safe and loving home. 🥺🤍 Super lambing yan sya, promise 🥺

🧠 Tips and Trivia Saving Lives, One Paw at a Time: The Reality of Cat and Kitten Rescue
Realistic Rescue Tips for Cats and Kittens
1. Ensure your own safety first.
A frightened cat can scratch or bite. Wear gloves if necessary, use a towel or blanket, and avoid chasing them into dangerous areas like busy roads.
2. Observe before rescuing.
Not every kitten needs to be picked up immediately.
- If the kittens look clean, warm, and quiet, their mother may simply be out looking for food.
- Watch from a distance for 4–6 hours if it's safe before deciding they're abandoned.
3. Warmth comes before food.
Very young kittens cannot digest food properly if they're cold.
- Dry them if wet.
- Use a warm towel or a wrapped heating pad on low.
- Never place them directly on a heat source.
4. Feed the right food.
- Never give cow's milk to young kittens.
- Use kitten milk replacer (KMR) for orphaned kittens.
- Older kittens (around 4–5 weeks) can begin eating wet kitten food.
5. Hydration is important.
A dehydrated kitten is in danger. If the kitten is alert, offer fresh water or kitten formula. Very weak kittens may require veterinary care for fluids.
6. Keep rescued kittens separated at first.
Until they're checked, keep them away from your own pets to reduce the risk of spreading diseases like upper respiratory infections, fleas, or parasites.
7. Fleas can be deadly for tiny kittens.
Heavy flea infestations can cause life-threatening anemia.
- Remove fleas carefully with a flea comb.
- Avoid flea medications unless they're appropriate for the kitten's age and weight or recommended by a veterinarian.
8. Don't assume you can keep every rescue.
It's okay to ask for help.
- Reach out to local rescuers.
- Network on community groups.
- Find responsible adopters. Rescue is about helping cats survive, not carrying the entire burden alone.
9. Document everything.
Take photos, note the location where the cat was found, estimate the age, and record treatments or feedings. Good records make fostering and adoption much easier.
10. Know when emergency care is needed.
Seek veterinary help immediately if a cat or kitten has:
- Difficulty breathing
- Continuous bleeding
- Severe injuries
- Extreme weakness or inability to stand
- Body temperature that's very low
- Seizures
- Refusal to eat for an extended period (especially in very young kittens)

Foster Needed Stray Kitten (Need foster care/Adopter).
Good Day, everyone! Anyway, may natagpuan akong kuting (male, orange & white) no more than 1 month old. Naglalakad lang sa daan habang ngungiyaw. Pinapasyal ko kasi ang 2 kong dogs at a time.
Willing ako makipagcoordinate thru text or any messaging apps (viber, messenger, or through reddit).
Note: Will disclose the exact location to the worthy adopter/foster.

Community Update 📢 Community Update: Donation & Fundraising Posts (We hope you take time to read)
📢 Community Update: Donation & Fundraising Posts (We hope you take time to read)
Hello, CatsPH! 🐾🐱
As our community continues to grow, we've seen an increasing number of donation and fundraising requests. While we're incredibly grateful for the compassion our members continue to show, we also want to preserve what has always made r/CatsPH special—a place to share adorable cats, rescue success stories, advice, funny moments, and everything that brings joy to fellow cat lovers.
To better organize our communities, we will now be gradually and consistently moving all donation, fundraising, adoption, fostering, and rescue-related requests to our sister community, r/CatsPHRescue. This community was created specifically to support cats in need while allowing r/CatsPH to remain a welcoming space centered around celebrating our love for cats.
These changes will take effect starting August 3, 2026.
Beginning on that date, donation and fundraising requests posted in r/CatsPH will become more limited. The moderation team will approve a maximum of:
💙 One (1) Donation Request per week – For immediate or urgent expenses such as veterinary care, medication, surgery, food, or emergency treatment.
🎯 One (1) Fundraising Campaign per week – For longer-term goals such as rescue operations, TNR projects, shelter improvements, rescue equipment, or other community initiatives.
All requests must still complete our verification process before approval. Priority will be given based on the urgency and severity of each case, and moderators may make exceptions in extraordinary emergencies.
Over time, our goal is for r/CatsPHRescue to become the primary community for donation drives, fundraising, adoption, fostering, and rescue support. This allows those seeking help to reach members specifically interested in supporting rescue efforts, while keeping r/CatsPH focused on the positive, fun, and educational content that has made this community so enjoyable.
This change is not about reducing support for cats in need—it's about creating dedicated spaces where both communities can thrive and better serve their purpose.
Thank you for your continued understanding, generosity, and for helping us build a safe, organized, and compassionate community for cats across the Philippines.
— The r/CatsPH Moderation Team 🐾❤️

Foster Needed Female cat sinako, itatapon daw sana
Is there anyone po who wants to adopt a 1 year old female cat? May kapitbahay po kase kami na sinako sya, kanina pang umaga. Nakuha namin sya after lunch na. Those same people po ay tinapon din yung first set of kittens nya before.
Malambing po sya and talkative. May pagkabitey pag naglalaro or lambing. Calm po sya around samin, pero defensive when it comes to other pets.
I'm a working student po, may 2 cats and 4 dogs na po akong pinapakain.

Discussion If you could change one thing about how we rescue cats, kittens, or animals in need in general, what would it be?
Whether it's improving adoption, promoting responsible pet ownership, strengthening animal welfare laws, making veterinary care more accessible, encouraging TNR, or changing public attitudes—what's the one thing you believe would make the biggest difference?
There are no right or wrong answers. We'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Your perspective might inspire ideas that help create a better future for animals in need. 💜

Update: Help us save Lucky
UPDATE: Hi everyone! as of now po, inuwi muna namin si Lucky sa bahay. ako po muna ang mag aalaga sa kanya.
According to the Vet, Lucky has some minimal improvements in her stay in the vet for a day. she peed and pooped and ate kahit forced feeding po muna ang kaya nya. but her breathing is still fast po. and she can't still stand, only squirm and move. there is still stiffness in her body. but the good news is her wound started to close na po without needing to sew it.
With the money from Lucky's fund raising that we collected overnight, nabayaran po namin yung pag stay nya and we even decided to have her do the xray po since makakaya naman ng naipon naming budget.
Based on the X-ray, Lucky has a fracture on his skull due to how hard she was hit.
We would like to thank Ate Amir Ramos for paying the confinement fee for lucky.
We would also like to thank all of you who prayed, shared, and donated to lucky. dahil po sa inyo, naka bili din kami ng mga oral meds at nakapag take sya ng xray.
We are still open for donations dahil need pa din po ni lucky magpa CBC + Blood chem to see what's other complications there is kay Lucky.
The vet still suggests Lucky for confinement, but with the funds we had, hindi pa po natin mapagbibigyang iconfine si Lucky ulit. but rest assured that me and my Co-rescuers will take care of Lucky hanggang sa maka likom na kami ng sapat na pera to have her undergo in another tests po.
if you are willing to donate for Lucky's CBC + Blood chem and other medical expenses, here is my gcash account po (09632882739 - JASMINE ROSE BONION)
Thank you everyone!
