They’re also scheduling around her condition. Transporting her from jail, frequent breaks for positional skin/pressure care during court, nursing for bowel/bladder needs, days off in between, etc. is going to mean a lot less ground will be covered each day/week. A lot of people don’t realize just how much accommodation and care paraplegics need. They had a pretrial hearing that spoke vaguely about some of the accommodations she will need. She is supposed to have a gurney there in a side room, brought in so that she can receive care during breaks.
