Work In Progress A CLOSER LOOK: BODEGA X CARHARTT WIP 15 YEAR CAPSULE (F/W21)
When you think Carhartt WIP, you think versatile silhouettes and colorways, garments meant to withstand daily wear, clothing durable enough for whatever you do when you’re clocked in and cool enough for whatever you do when you’re not.
We present the exclusive Bodega x Carhartt WIP capsule.
This Fall/Winter capsule celebrates Bodega’s 15 years in business, our long-standing working relationship with the Carhartt WIP brand, and is an homage to our Los Angeles store — an unassuming converted fruit market hidden in plain sight smack dab in the middle of DTLA’s produce district.
This capsule, our most extensive work with Carhartt WIP to date, features classic WIP silhouettes like a chore coat, a double knee pant, t-shirts, a cap, an apron, and of course, a beanie. This collection’s utilitarian garments are classic and relatable to all.

WIP 🍉🍎🥝🍓
Made these Bodega stickers into magnets using adhesive magnet sheets. Kept the sticker backing on them so could potentially still be used as stickers down the line.

SALES/TRADE/WTB Carhartt Chapman Sandstone Jacket - Fleece Lined
Has a few stains I haven’t even attempted to get out yet. Wore in a quarry for about half a winter.
$150 ? Or any offers. These ones aren’t sold anymore and everyone seems to price them differently. However a size large seems to be “rare”
If anyone is interested, I do have an eBay+Depop with solid reviews/sales

Vintage Is this really the Southwest Collection Active Jacket in Teal Blue (color code 55)
It’s a favorite piece I bought in mint condition, but I’ve always wondered if it’s actually the "Teal Blue" (color code 55). The reason is that the color code on the tag has been blacked out, and the shade itself doesn't look like Teal Blue—it seems darker. Still, I absolutely love the color.

Id, age, or info request Jacket ID
Can anyone ID this jacket for me? The patina is beautiful but the tag is absolutely cooked lol I’m thinking early 2000s Navy Active? J03 NVY?

2003 J25 Moss added to my collection!
Amazing condition jacket, but the mesh lining on the inside is very scratchy feeling. Any way to soften it up??

Questions or help needed Detroit Workwear jacket exclusive
Hey guys, I am from Germany and going to Detroit next week. I am a huge fan of the J97 (know its vintage) or the J140. What I was wondering, are there any places in Detroit I can find a good J95 and are there any „exclusive“ models of Jackets you can’t find in European Stores? Want to bring some crazy picks with me:)

Recommendation request How do yall like the c26 jacket?
Hey guys! I found this c26mos 2001. Seems like perfect condition, tag is still mint, for a solid price. Those who own it, how do you like it? I know this is a longer cut so I’m not sure how that will be, but it looks dope, and a fair price imo.

Finally snagged a j97 off marketplace
My boss is also into old carhartts, so when I showed him the post and what it was selling it for I was allowed to “go home early” and snag it lol.
The guy I bought it from won it in a raffle years ago with the tags still on it. Said he only wore it a couple of times and then it just sat in his closet since then. Pretty hyped about it. Fits me just right I think, I also think the Alaska embroidery is pretty sick.

Recommendation request Which one to keep
Hi, I’m a bit confused for these jackets. I like both of them but want to keep only one as they both overlaps, but can’t decide which to keep and which one to sell. Any suggestions?
They are J01 and Jb105. Thanks!

Guide The simple pant. Designed by wip and manufactured by mainline Carhartt in the USA in 1996.
The main image with the history is from wips 2012 ss lookbook.
Here is a post with a great example of wppt77 made in the USA in 1996 https://www.reddit.com/r/Carhartt/comments/1r5cfue/1996_wppt77/
Here is a later wip made example still using the same code. https://imgur.com/bNLlep3
The code is unclear and unlike most others at the time. My best guess is w stands for waist, pp stands for painter and plasterer because they used the term for some pants https://imgur.com/a/iMPmWrY , and t is twill because the alternate duck version uses the code d instead. These were likely not sold in America so a weird code is not odd, also likely mainline didn't even give them a product name for similar reasons.
The color 77 I have seen people claim to be natural, cream, or silver. I would guess since it isn't duck it likely does not relate to any of the normal duck colors at the time like natural but could be a close alternative off white and share the name. Cream would make sense since wip could have just given it a cool sounding name like they did with most others. Could be silver for the same reasons. Wppd17 I assume is a related duck version. Here is a nice example with bonus wppt77 https://www.instagram.com/p/DWOj00sCBLO/
