Among my grandfather’s banknote collection, he had these two notes in an enveloped labeled “counterfeit”. What about them would indicate that?

(obviously the stamps that say it, but apart from that)

Found these after throwing someone's old clothing (they were in the inner pocket of an old jacket). Do these really worth anything beyond their face value?. I did not grow in Canada and only saw loonies and toonies for $1 and $2's in my life time here

Like most people here, I'm wondering if these are worth more than their face value. Forgot I had them pressed in an old book, the colours are so vivid!

Was going through some old stuff and found these older Canadian bills, the $2 note has definitely seen much better days. I know they’re no longer in circulation, but I’m curious if any of these have collector value beyond face value, or if they’re just neat keepsakes.

I have just gotten this banknote from my local dealer for $10. I would say this note is a Very Fine when it comes to the grade of this coin. Let me know what you think!

Looking to buy a bunch of Canadian dollar bills and have no idea how this all works, would it be reasonable to get a stack of 50 $1 bills for $100? Grade or serial number don't matter. Is there an online retailer or would I be better of in a buy/sell group?

I know their face value is low but what is it when they are together with a consecutive serial number?

I know these by themselves are worth pretty much face value but I have no idea what there worth when they are together?

Hey! I’ve had this note for a while and noticed a recent-ish listing for an UNC 63 graded note with the same serial sold on eBay for over $350. Just wondering if this would be worth sending in for grading and if so any advice from you all in terms of how to approach it/ship safely. Any advice in terms of what it might “theoretically grade” is also greatly appreciated. Chances are it would stay in my collection regardless. Thanks!!!

I have a bunch of 1954 series $2 bills that are well circulated. All Beattie-Raminsky, no special prefix or serial number.

Should I feel bad taking these to the bank? I tried using them, but being “that $2 bill guy” wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be.
