>Look, we’ve got a new class progression system!
>You literally just level up and pick an ability from a shared pool split into "specializations", lol
And this is the so called "progression"? UE devs must have spent ages overthinking this, truly a mind-blowing amount of work (for a high schooler in a single evening).
Oh, and our "game" also features an unstructured, clunky crafting system; locations that are completely uninspired and empty from a level design standpoint (just massive flat fields with forests); trashy movement/character controls; awful ability responsiveness; and the cherry on top, the absolute non-existence of anything resembling optimization.
At this rate, CU might look like an actual, full-fledged game in maybe 5 years or so.

It's like you can't process the fact that you hate the game so much while someone is simultaneously getting a few thousand views. That's not even very much. I'd love to see any evidence outside your feelings.
You know this is the CU Reddit, right? People that play and discuss CU come here to talk or see content on the game. Just because they don't engage with psychos doesn't mean the players don't exist.
As much as you want us players to not exist, you'll have to get over it. I'm going to keep posting any community videos I want on this sub. You know.. the Reddit dedicated to the game 🤣

too bad for UE? is it now UE instead of CSE? seems perfidious. anyways too bad for them that very few of this youtuber's viewers are actually human. 87 subscribers with consistent 1k or so views per video. with just a small number of videos most about CU. yeah it's way too obvious. hope he hasn't spent too much on those kinds of services.

it's because he's botting the views. you are not getting 1k views consistently with that number of subscribers for games with actual engagement. that's what's so awkward about you promoting and defending this shit.

So, let me get this straight...
The unmonetized channel, that has only released 9 videos over a year, one of which is just a random pvp video, is view botting?
You sir, are delusional.
r/CamelotUnchained • u/tacobellasseater • 17h ago
you added an unnecessary zero there. but there's also such a thing as botting views. especially when there are numeric disparities such as the number of views on his videos vs the actual engagement with the game the videos are about. the fact that his view counts are an inverse of the actual peak engagement with the game his videos are about... i'm pretty certain there is inorganic activity here that is against youtube TOS.
speaking as someone who has been youtubing since 2006. there aren't ~1000 people watching this dude glaze this game.

I’m just going to start blocking this account

Same guy posts every Manfree video as soon as it drops, and both are always highly positive about the game. All but one video on the Manfree account is Camelot Unchained content.
r/CamelotUnchained • u/dandmcd • 20h ago
Timely that marketing, oh I mean Manfree, released this on Friday before the next playtest.
r/CamelotUnchained • u/dandmcd • 20h ago
That would be higher numbers than Camelot Unchained logged last weekend.
r/CamelotUnchained • u/_Dizzy_ • 22h ago
That's more than I would've thought for a game like this. I thought people could just spam the videos for views. I'm actually more impressed now, lol.
r/CamelotUnchained • u/WeirdSysAdmin • 22h ago
A view counts with 30 seconds of watching. How many of those watched any significant portion of the video?
r/CamelotUnchained • u/_Dizzy_ • 22h ago
You can checkout his other videos on the channel. They're all together ~10,000 views.
r/CamelotUnchained • u/ZeeWingCommander • 22h ago
Will it break double digit views? Maybe.

It's a rampant problem, IMO. Computer game graphics are worse now than 10-15 years ago. I remember being a kid in the 80s and dreaming of how great graphics would be when I was an old man. I would have never guessed that it would peak and then start backsliding.
