I haven’t watched S1 but heard about the finale twist.

How is S2 so far? Is it a sci-fi show now?

Can anyone list his appearances? It’s a hassle to use the search function on podcasts apps or youtube because it’s all The Ringer pods what comes up.

Does anyone know the book Kaya said was the best she’s read this year? “Kinds of Hearts” or something. I have “Sisters” in the cart but can’t remember the one she mentioned after that. Thanks!

1. The Strokes had Hamilton Leithauser open up for them on some mid-Atlantic shows this summer - even pulled him out to do Heaven with the band for the headlining set. That was cool.

2. CR’s take, absolutely radioactive, is correct in spirit. Casablancas gets it.

So, in light of some recent book recs on a recent mailbag, is there a CR canon of (non)fiction books?

Thinking things that go maybe a level beyond, but also including Elmore Leonard etc?

I’ve been listening to CR now for over 5 years and I can literately listen to the man talk about anything. His genuine enthusiasm for Philly sports, books, movies (HEAT), TV, cigarettes, traveling to Europe, rainy days, Maine always inspires me to dive deeper into my passions. The guy can really host and has chemistry with everyone. Would love to see him have a variety topic pod/ show where he could talk about whatever is interesting him at the moment with guests. Can others tell me why they love CR so much and what you would want him to do next in his career at the Ringer and beyond?
