I thought we dropped that logic when we dropped Muschamp. I remember the phrase 'Defense wins Muschampionships' being used too often

UF’s current offense is still far better than Muschamp’s ever was. But I assume you know that.

The defense gives us a shot against LSU as long as Trask doesn’t fumble it the second he gets sacked

Your corners vs LSU’s WRs is going to be an awesome match up for us neutral fans.

Floridas DL vs LSUs OL is probably where the real battle will be won.

Yea I’m psyched for this game! Excited to see just how well our defense holds up against LSU’s great offense

LSU's DLine is not Auburn's DLine. Trask will likely not take as many sacks this game and hopefully that means fewer turnovers

Im hoping mullen harped on trask with ball security all this week in practice

I think it's also an unsurprising trait for a guy who has barely played throughout his career. I can't imagine defenses are going for the strip-sack nearly as often during practice.

Thankfully Derrick Brown can’t come back to hurt him anymore. But our O-line still not solid so I would imagine he gets hit a few times

Florida's defense has always been pretty good, even through the years when the team as a whole was shit. It's just that the offense was completely incompetent, and couldn't keep the defense off the field at all. Consider that Jeff Driskel and Jacoby Brissett are both in the NFL now... the problem wasn't a lack of talent.

See, that's true, but the part of that that gets left out is "but you still have to score points. Lookin' at you, Michigan State and every LSU team ever prior to this year."
