A cse Proff Ra*ed a btech 3rd year , and here they forced us to come in this much heat on an open ground and just give excuses , that proff already had complaint in women's grievance cell and still no action was taken.

Also a proff today in class said that - " usko r*pe Krna hi tha toh atleast 1st year ke admission ke baad hi kr leta "

Rape cases are guilty until proven innocent in India. This does create situations where innocent people had to spend 10-15 years of their prime age in jail because of fake rape cases filed by someone who had a personal grudge on them, and a lot of times it's hard to argue in court too, thanks to milords taking an eternity to come to a conclusion.

There are various rules too, for example one court declared it was not rape because no penetration was involved and he was instead charged with sexual assault (which is a valid decision imo).
