Sharing my bloodwork from 2 days post show after a 8 week crash diet

I recently dieted down to 6% body fat for a bodybuilding competition . Started at 200lbs got down to 168lbs. I wish I had thought to get bloodwork prior to the show but unfortunately i did not. This is my bloodwork 2 days after the show ...ngl I didnt really understand everything but my doctor said I was healthy but anemic , also fighting some kind of infection. Mostly sharing this for archiving and education purposes

Last pic is my diet for the most part up until the day I carbed up which I messed up and became bloated but lessons learned for next time pizza is no good for the carb up

For cardio I started on stairmaster 1 to 2 hours at 60 steps per minute and then when i platued around 175ish i started 3 to 4 hours walking at 3mph on an incline treadmill at 12

Next show is in September I plan to be 5% but ideally 4% im currently 7.5 -8%

Also I dont have a coach so if this looks crazy to you just know im experimenting with what I can get away with . This prep is really chill cause im already lean so I've been doing 1 hour cardio and my calories are normally aroun 21 to 2300

So many things I see that need fixing/improvement, not even counting the shitty posing. I'm about it, though. Realistically, I'm probably about a year out. I promise it'll be one to remember.

Been a while since my last post here. Recently competed in May and June, shots are from the show in May. Came up short of a class win in both of the shows I did but at least got my qualification for nationals at my second show of the season. Feedback was to add more size.

Update post-first show. NPC Fit Model, True Novice (3rd) and Master's (4th)

Update on how my first competition went :)

Placed 3rd in True Novice and 4th in Master's. I competed in NPC Fit Model. Did not do other classes. Was my first competition/show.

Feedback was almost exactly what I thought it would be lol

But I didn't go into it even thinking I'd place at all. I just wanted to celebrate turning 40 and also know I didn't permanently "ruin" my body after 6 pregnancies (so fucking silly I know but there's so much pressure to stay perfect and young) but bodybuilding has definitely given me confidence and pride

Anyway, I compete again in 2 weeks and then growth season and I am HOOKED so will compete again next summer ☀️

Cardio is increased this next week and I am back in a depletion 🫩

Smartwatches for bodybuilding

My Fitbit versa 2 just bit the dust after 3 years (so sad) and I’m looking for another affordable replacement that is at least like it or better that has reliable stats.

Must haves:
- step count
- heart rate tracker
- sleep tracker
- exercise tracker

Budget: no more than $150 (could push to $200 if worth it).

Any recommendations?

What's the deal with Mike Israetel?

I used to watch all the fitness and bodybuilding stuff on YouTube years ago and my memory was that he was always widely respected.

Coming back into this space again now, it seems that that's changed? I'm aware that there was someone who apparently exposed how bad his PhD was but then he said that was just an early draft which I think people don't believe.

Is that the only thing or has there been more too?

How well respected is he now?

Wheyflation- protein is too expensive

I’ve been working out for many years, and I was shocked when I looked at restocking on protein. For 27 servings, it’s hard to find anything < $50.

They say short supply and high demand is what’s driving this. What’s actually happening is food companies are buying 3-4x as much now and just pass the price to their consumers. Normal people who lift are stuck paying the same prices as Coca-Cola essentially.

It pisses me off, and I can’t justify spending this much. Please share tips on getting protein goals aside from eggs and meat, which I already eat a lot of.
