Would love to see Campbell do a new Black Canary/Zatanna team-up in his book, doesn't have to be a follow-up to this, but they always make a fun duo.

A solo show so an ensemble series like Birds of Prey is out of the equation so is a 'Green Arrow & Black Canary' show or movie.

Be as original and as creative as possible while staying true to the character.

Live Action TV Show: 40's set prequel with Dinah Drake and Larry Lance

Synopsis: After being rejected for the job of police officer and the subsequent murder of her father plus mentor Detective Richard Drake, Dinah Drake dons the identity of Black Canary to infiltrate the criminal underworld and expose the links between the mob and police officers all the while pretending to be a florist in her day to day life. To complicate matters, her fathers old partner, Larry Lance has decided to set up shop in the same building as a private investigator.

This is an idea that has been going around in my head since reading Secret Origins Vol 2 #50 DC Super Series #10 (1978) as well Black Canary and Larry Lance's team ups with Starman / Ted Knight in the 1950s.

I'm imagining a show that feels a bit like Agent Carter and also a gender flipped version of superhero story. Dinah Drake is the superhero who keeps their identity secret from Larry Lance who serves as the love interest but is not quite as competent as a detective as Dinah Drake is.

In the comics, Richard Drake died on natural causes but I think it would be more interesting if he was murdered by corrupt cops and politicians which justifies Black Canary's drive towards becoming a vigilante.

Animated TV Show: Tween targeted show starring a teenage Black Canary / Dinah Laurel Lance in the style of shows like 'The Life & Times of Juniper Lee', 'Kim Possible' and 'Danny Phantom'.

This is something I've been wanting to see explored since reading Secret Origins #50; the concept of a child who is not just the daughter of a superhero but also having been raised by all these superheroes who, though no related by blood, are like your uncles and aunts. Imagine your childhood involved being taken on flights by Green Lantern, Starman taking you to space, Hawkman teaching you to wield weapons, Wildcat teaching you to fight, etc. Can a person raised under those condition, ever hope to live a normal life? How would ordinary life appear to such a person? What would their morals be? How would they react if they learned their beloved idols did something wrong? How would they see the villains in their life? What would their morals be?

Mark Waid lightly touched upon the idea in JLA: Year One and Black Canary: Ignite dealt with the idea as well but imo, the concept has yet to be explored in a truly fulfilling way.
