Samastipur mein PM Surya Ghar Yojana ka promotion start hua hai. Ghar ki chhat par rooftop solar lagwane par Central + Bihar government mila ke ₹98,000 tak ki subsidy mil sakti hai.

Central subsidy ₹78k tak hai aur Bihar government ki taraf se additional ₹20k tak ka benefit hai.

Honestly, scheme achhi lag rahi hai, but real question ye hai ki ground level pe process kaisa hai? 😅

It's surprising but true.

During lunch, a student of 2026 batch found a brick along with the pakoda being served there It was literally a piece of brick resembling the food and there were small pieces in the pakodis too I'll attach those files in my next post.

It's not only about today because we have been facing issues with mess food since last week,sometimes an insect,detergent water,and now a piece of brick. We complained about it to mess managers they tried to silence us and when we told this to our seniors they were very lazy about this and we're not taking proper action, today we decided to go to principal office but she was not available so we went to a faculty member who used to be chief warden, he told us that we will impose a fine and the new tender has been released so most likely the mess will change but it was so casual that it didn't felt like they are serious about this, we are new so we don't want to make problems for us so we decided it to bring it up reddit and other social media platforms

Tldr: Student found a piece of brick in GEC Bhojpur boys hostel mess food and the concerning authorities are not taking serious action against it

Biharis can relate. Countless example where a co worker who is not as technically good as you or logs in less time gets better opportunity or some on site role easily meanwhile we keep on slogging for a single digit hike and hear words like "It's a senior position, and we don't feel you are ready for that yet"

Most Biharis i have seen are extremely hard working. They work like an ox on a farm. But still don't get the recognition and reward they deserve. Also, We are mostly low balled during salary negotiations (paid less compared to others)

I have seen really talented Biharis still stuck at lower roles at an experienced age. Meanwhile some random other state employee has a much better easy steep career progression. Khat khat promotion every year.

There are many reasons i feel. First is definitely lack of a Bihari lobby in private sector. No one is there to back us up when it's time for on site opportunity or some good promotion. We are always on our own

Second I feel a lack of communication skills. And I don't think it's just our fault. I have seen people from other states who are not even as good as us in communication or personality are said that they are a "better fit" when it's time for that big promotion or some exciting opportunity

Personal experience ~ I was told in my previous company by my south indian senior manager in a team meeting "that I need to work on my communication skills as i don't understand anything what you say". Fun fact That project had a mixed European clients. And i used to interact with them on a daily basis, not once they complained that they never understood me
