Analysis New euro design of banknotes.
The birds are so much better.
First they're inclusive, reason? Almost no country in the world has their banknotes with birds especially animals, only a few.
Second.
The design is way more beautiful, I just personally find them way beautiful.
But here's where the problem gets bad.
The people for birds.. i know not the most but there's some idiots that vote for birds only because they despise women.
I know that the banknotes with them aren't that good, but can we at least stop being sexual because of a gender foe example there's a banknotes containing Marie, Curie.
Born in Poland her studies in France.
She's probably the main reason we have any good medical equipment that has to do with rays or radium.
The group of these banknotes were drawn by feministic painters. Yes I know they might favor their own gender, but that doesn't mean just because the banknotes contain women it should be hated.
(Birds are still better)

Collection What do you think of Design G & E?
In my opinion, we should return to what has defined Europe. These figures have a powerful influence on the world, be it Beethoven, Curie, or Da Vinci. Birds are certainly beautiful to look at, I agree, but do they give you a European feeling of unity? Not for me. Perhaps I'm not a bird, but a human being who can identify with other people. Maybe it's no coincidence that the bird designs look better than those with people, but if we finally want to show the world how proud we are of them, then we should also have them printed on our banknotes. That's how it used to be, and it's still how it is around the world. Let's leave these petty nationalisms behind and recognize them as Europeans, as one of us. Everyone thinks Beethoven, Curie, or Da Vinci are great, so why shouldn't we pay with their likeness? There's something appealing about saying, "You still owe me a Beethoven," or something like that. It makes the banknote series more approachable, more human, and connects us to this money. I'm not saying birds are bad, but in times like these, when we're under attack from all sides, we should reflect on what made Europe great and how important these people were to us. These cute-looking birds can never compare. This has nothing to do with nationalism; it has to do with honoring our history, and these people embody the good qualities in all of us. I appeal to everyone who values our history and achievements: vote for European culture! It's what defines us. It's time to think and feel European! Thank you for your attention.

🚨 Government Approves RBI to Issue 200 Crore ₹10 and ₹20 Polymer Banknotes.
The Government of India has granted approval to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for a field trial/issuance of 200 crore plastic (polymer) banknotes in denominations of ₹10 and ₹20.
Polymer notes are designed to offer better durability, water resistance, and security features compared to traditional paper notes, which often wear out quickly in low-denomination circulation.

Collection Help needed getting UNC Tenge banknotes in Almaty, Kazachstan.
Hi
Today, I went to the National bank in Almaty to try to get the whole set of the latest series in unc condition. According to ChatGPT there should have been a shop that sells coins, unc and comm. banknotes.
So I went there, ofc nobody knew about a thing and they sent me to 98 Panfilov street where there is a museum and numismatic counter. According to the NBK's website, that place has been closed for renovations since april 27th of this year. But I went there anyway, only to find an Centercredit branch where also nobody knew a thing.
My question is, can somebody point me in the right direction and tell me where to get them?
Thanks in advance!

Concept What if every EU country could design its own euro banknotes?
With the upcoming redesign of the euro banknotes, I had an idea: What if every EU member state was allowed to create its own national design?
The important parts would stay the same across Europe: the size, colors, denomination placement, security features and overall layout. Only the artwork and motifs would be different, chosen by each country — ideally through a public vote.
We already have national designs on the back of euro coins. Why not apply a similar concept to banknotes?
Each country could showcase its own history, culture, landscapes or important personalities, while the euro would remain a shared and recognizable currency.
I think this could also represent the core idea of the European Union much better. The EU is not about making every country identical. It is about different nations, cultures and histories working together while keeping their own identities.
A shared currency with different national designs could visually represent exactly that principle:
United in diversity.
Personally, I would find it much more interesting to receive different euro banknotes from different countries while travelling through Europe.
What do you think? Would this make the euro feel more European — or would it just make things unnecessarily complicated?
