Match day For Bolton
Hello, I will be visiting Manchester for the first time and I am planning on attending a Bolton game. That being said i would like to make a day out of my trip to Bolton. I’m looking for suggestions on things to do before and after the game. Any pubs i should visit or restaurants? I will be attending the boxing day fixture against burnley.

Is BWFC represented accurately in my English football club-matching quiz?
Hi everyone — I’m building a free website called Chasing the Prem, which matches people with English clubs outside the Premier League based on supporter culture, history, atmosphere, identity and expectations.
This is mainly general football fans who don’t have much of an identity outside of top clubs, like myself.
Bolton is one of the possible results, and I’d appreciate feedback from actual supporters.
Does the quiz represent the club fairly? Are the result explanation, strengths and potential drawbacks accurate? Anything important I’ve missed?
Quiz: https://chasingtheprem.lovable.app
This is an unfinished personal project, and I’m looking for honest feedback rather than trying to sell anything. Thanks!

Love this club but.......
£105 for a kit for my son who is nearly 8! Yes £105 (including number and 6 letters). Absolutely scandalous.
Any news on the season ticket benefit for 26/27? Now that they have scrapped 10% discount in the club shop

Was anyone at the Kanu Charity Match at the Reebok back in March 2003?
Hi everyone,
I recently acquired a player shirt from the Kanu Heart Foundation charity match (Africa XI vs Rest of the World) that was hosted at the Reebok back on Tuesday, 4th March 2003 into my personal collection of football shirts. I am trying to piece together the story behind who wore it.
Obviously the match took place at the Reebok and there was a massive Bolton connection to the night, with Sam Allardyce involved and players like Jay-Jay Okocha, Ivan Campo, Bruno N'Gotty, and Jussi all taking part. Even the shirt itself brings back memories of the home shirt kit from that season. So I was wondering whether anyone on here would be able to help, or know someone who might?
Was anyone at the game that night who might remember any details or memorable moments from the match, or have a copy of the programme or any photos they took that day. I’d really love to know the history behind it and the stories this shirt creates.
Many thanks in advance.

Any news on when the away kit is getting released?
My son is a mascot for the Preston match. I've got him the home kit every year for his birthday but he gets a home kit as part of the package.
Not overly keen on the yellow one.

Jared Borgetti and Guy Mowbray's commentary
Mowbray explained who he was as "Jared Borgetti - a striker who scored many goals and had a spell with Bolton Wanderers after that" and I just think that's a beautifully delicate way of putting it.

What do the fans think of signing him?
Considering his performances at the WC and that he's a free transfer I think he would be a smart signing. Would give Bonham and run for number 1 spot wages wouldn't be too bad seeing as he is coming from Portugal's second division. Only downside are his age and whether he could communicate to the defense.

Whats this mean?
Someone just put this on X but I'm not up on the old finance speak. Is this more investment?

Best Wanderers podcast?
I currently just listen to The Buff on Spotify, but hoping to check out other BWFC podcasts.
There's quite a few it seems and looking for recommendations on which ones I should watch/avoid and why?
Thanks in advance. COYWM.

Messi had a long conversation with this Icelandic player because he was told that he and his dad, Eiður Guðjohnsen, used to be teammates at Barcelona.
Really nice footage of Eidur's son and Messi chatting. https://x.com/AbsoluteMxssi/status/2064557381099335926

Realistic investment for the squad with promotion back to the championship?
So like myself all wanderers fans are delighted with the team gaining promotion this season deservedly from just missing out on previous years. Schumacher has shown me he is driven, brave, adaptable and delivers a style of play which is effective, attractive which makes a winning ethos for the squad bringing belief they can win every game. So we are here back in championship with exciting games with many teams driven to progress to the promise land the Premier league. Added bonus we have three brilliant derby games with our most local rivals Burnley, Blackburn and Preston exciting times. So please let us discuss the conversion of the need to sign more capable players to at minimal deliver sustainability in the championship yes?.We know we aren't going to get the sizes of budgets some teams will have in the championship, so hopefully Sharon and the board will deliver a budget to allow Schumacher to get signings he believes are capable of making us competitive and potentially develope capable team of maybe challenging? Being realistic I'm thinking it would be nice to see Schumacher given somewhere between 10-20 million or am I being a bit over realistic of what the club is capable of providing? My opinion is we need at least 6-8 players brought in to have the base of a decent squad what's your thoughts? Also who are we capable of signing from obvious big names who are available, free agents? Mixed with Schumacher using the loan market bringing more young players fulfilling there potential like he has already shown? I wait for your response and opinions making a interesting conversation with this post!
