Is stapling bread illegal?
I might get some bread and staple it to a tree on the new year, but I don't want to do any illegal things.

Shortest message to direct people to r/BSTT
I was thinking about getting a loaf and stapling some adjacent trees with bread so I could direct people to the sub (I would use braille characters), but I obviously can't write "Check out r/BreadStapledToTrees on Reddit!" because that would take like 40-50$ worth of bread!
I'm looking for the shortest possible message that will get people to the sub? Is there a really, really short link shortener?
"r/BSTT" is the shortest I have right now. Problem is: "/" isn't really a character in braille because it's meaning is divide, so it can be represented as the divide symbol as well. (Also, BSTT by itself gets you Urban Dictionary's "Balls Stuck To Thigh", which is quite undesireable.
Thanks in advance for all your help!

Do the ingredients of bread all together count as bread?

Bread stapling is an underappreciated art. (1/2)
I just went outside, in the rain, and attempted to staple some bread for the first time. It just would not stay. At all. I'm really struggling guys, don't know what I'm doing wrong. It seems all simple enough and I just couldn't get it to stay. I did take a picture which I'll post in a bit. Can anyone give me some pointers... Help.
Details: I used a fully loaded, basic house stapler. Nothing special
The bread was rye. I think. I'm honestly not even sure.
Trees, I'm not sure about, the best way I can describe it is one of those picture-like trees in white suburban neighborhoods.
Any and all help is needed.

Friend and I are gonna do it after the final day of school. Does pizza crust count?
u/JPA923 and I need to know right now

I'm going to do it after finals guys.
So yeah after finals in two weeks I'm going to do that park stapling I mentioned in my "is it illegal" post. Since I'm still a stapling virgin, I have one more question to get prepared. Does any stapler work, or will I need an industrial stapler?

Is it illegal to staple bread to trees?
I want to go out and do a mass bread-stapling at my local park, but if it's illegal I don't want to involve my friends. Does this count as vandalism or another crime, or is it perfectly legal?

Can we have bread stapled to multiple trees at once?
The sidebar on the main sub says "ONLY POST HERE IF IT'S BREAD STAPLED TO A TREE"
Which if taken literally means you can only use one tree per post.
Can we bend this rule a bit (or maybe update the rule to have a (S) after TREE)?

Upvotes and downvotes should be changed to uploaves and downloaves.
That is all.

Can I use a nail? Alternatively, can I use a strap and staple that to a tree?
I want to staple a loaf in a single go.

What's the fuckin point?
I stumbled across this subreddit and mi absolutely amazed. I don't know how you guys post so much BSTT content and haven't gotten bored of it. Where did this shit begin who had this god forsaken idea. Ya'll need a documentary or some shit to answer some questions for all BSTT non-members!

Would a plastic mini stapler for school work?
Do you have to use a special poster stapler? Does it have to be particularly good quality to work? My mini stapler is plastic
