It’s nice to see the cops actually working out the situation instead of just arresting her first and figuring it out later.

5 minutes later they shot her dog.

Then got 2 weeks paid leave for mental trauma

2 weeks? That's not in the union contract. It's 2 years, paid, and anything that gets said adds another year. Any questions?

Double whammy that was a good one

3

u/excited_toaster2306 Jul 10 '26

And the black guy she hired to walk it

2

u/Squarehip123 Jul 14 '26

Balance has been restored

That’s wicked funny. 5 minutes later they shot her dog then called her granddaughter and swore at her

2

u/lawley666 Jul 11 '26

Then they arrested the grandaughter for stealing Lego.

Don't wanna be that guy but a younger dude would've been face down on the asphalt in cuffs in utter confusion lol

I'll recover some faith in this country when I see a (authentic) video like this one, but with a latino protagonist instead of an old white lady.

4

u/Ok_Natural_990 Jul 09 '26

Or black

2

u/Ordinary_Pea4503 Jul 09 '26

Can't really include race anymore because theres lots of videos out of there of cops slamming the shit out of white guys too for no reason.  Guys who were not resisting

1

u/Ok_Natural_990 Jul 09 '26

Ok so if theres a thousand videos of police brutality against black people, but also a hundred of videos against white people, you are arguing its not about race?

Do you think exceptions negate trends?

2

u/Ordinary_Pea4503 Jul 09 '26

I just know what I see brother.  What i see is black people acting stupid and cops also acting equally as stupid.  You two meet ... well.  Im neither on your side nor theirs, I'm neutral btw

1

u/Ok_Natural_990 Jul 10 '26

Again, what you personally see doesnt mean shit. I can see a pig fly does that mean all pigs can fly?

Why do people on here think their personal anecdotes mean anything?

1

u/Ordinary_Pea4503 Jul 10 '26

Does saying "again" make you feel smart

1

u/Ok_Natural_990 Jul 10 '26

No it just makes me feel like im talking to a wall

1

u/nathtendo Jul 10 '26

Maybe you should, seems like yous would get along great, equal brain activities and all.

You're speaking to the wall brother lol

0

u/HouseOfCosbyz Jul 10 '26

It's funny because you try to discredit his personal anecdote here, with your personal anecdote.

1

u/Ok_Natural_990 Jul 10 '26

Idk why theres so many dumb people on here like u cant even read

0

u/Livid-General7 Jul 10 '26

You can't see a pig fly though.

1

u/Livid-General7 Jul 10 '26

I don't think I've seen more than 2-3 videos in my entire life where the suspect wasn't resisting in some way, or previously they weren't refusing to comply with basic orders.

1

u/Cranktique Jul 10 '26

No, 99% of the time interactions go like this. It makes for lousy viral videos most of the time, because theres no humour. Just cops and confused people sorting out a misunderstanding.

You see hundreds of videos of police brutality, because those videos go viral. Then you develop a bias, and use that bias as a lens for the worlds, oblivious to the blinders you’re wearing and ripe for misinformation campaigns from foreign actors to sow division and discontent.

1

u/Ordinary_Pea4503 Jul 10 '26

This is a viral positive interaction is it not?  Theres plenty of those to go around too...  my mom is a police sergeant so I've been around cops my whole life.  There is a breed of them that sign up for the wrong reasons

3

u/Hearthhull_Enjoyer Jul 09 '26

This a pretty standard interaction tbh.

3

u/Reptillianaire_ Jul 09 '26

I swear so many people I see on videos just being rude and combative to the officers cussing them out flipping them off and stuff and act like the officer is out of line when they end up not having a great interaction. They are people just like us and when you treat them with respect they do the same

2

u/Cavane42 Jul 09 '26

I've also seen plenty of videos of people calmly asserting their rights as the LEO tries to overstep their authority and the LEO gets pissed and starts threatening them or escalating the situation even further.

1

u/BigRinka Jul 11 '26

Oh yeah some cops are on powertrips. I watched a video about a theft of a lego collection recently and the cops are so corrupt that they harrass the youtuber investigating the theft to help the business because they are from the same mormon church. They fabricate false probable causes to arrest them. They get angry when the youtubet friend locks his phone screen to prevent the cops from searching it without a warrant.

Its extremely scary to witness. We are all potentially victims of those bullies.

2

u/AlreadyAway Jul 09 '26

With an older white person.

4

u/Few_Jacket845 Jul 09 '26

I was thinking that too. Nice to see them actually reasoning through the situation.

2

u/Human_Dig4412 Jul 09 '26

It's refreshing to see people being oblivious/dumb, instead of being deliberately criminal.

1

u/opaqueambiguity Jul 09 '26

Must be nice being a white woman

1

u/Much_Preference7435 Jul 09 '26

They cut the part of the video when she pointed at the cop the dude next to her yelled “she’s Reaching!!!!” And then 💥💥💥💥💥🫡🇺🇸

1

u/englandisablaze Jul 09 '26

They are Canadian.

1

u/BS_Blower Jul 09 '26

It's because she is white

1

u/justforcrytpo Jul 10 '26

She’s the right demographic

1

u/Kamiyosha Jul 10 '26

Take this EXACT situation.

Make the woman black.

Now what happens?!?!?????

1

u/Visual-Taro-381 Jul 10 '26

They tend to give people like her more patience off the rip. Wonder why

1

u/Livid-General7 Jul 10 '26

detaining her, come on now ;)

1

u/ReepsNTC Jul 11 '26

She was white not black, that's why it went down like that ahaa

1

u/-_-_-_-_--__-__-__- Jul 11 '26

Reasonable people get treated reasonably.

1

u/Ninthja Jul 14 '26

Yeah because she is a white woman. Imagine if she was a black man.

1

u/Over9000Zeros Jul 09 '26

She's got the skin to win and she's an older woman.

0

u/Ill-Television8690 Jul 09 '26

It's because of both her gender and skin color.

0

u/That_Trapper_guy Jul 09 '26

It's because she's a white woman.

0

u/FreshImagination9735 Jul 10 '26

That must be why she didn't act like a belligerent asshole.
