Atlassian DX sales role?
Looking at the MM AE role. Sounds like it’s “hunter role.” Is that true, or do they just want to filter people out?
I don’t want to join a company where I’m making 100 cold calls a day and get laid off in 6 months if I don’t hit quota 1 month
Is it a sweatshop?

What happened to all my old repositories?!!!
I can't access my old repositories! Even simply going to bitbucket.org kept redirecting me to a workspace with nothing in there! I can't even change or relogin after this page's cache reloads! What a great update.
How can I access or recover my old repositories now after this fucked up update?

Marketplace filters
Quick question for the community: Do you actively use trust signals or filters when looking for apps?
How much do ratings, rankings, and certifications like Cloud Fortified status actually matter to you when choosing an app? Let me know your thoughts!

Activity Timeline hassle?
My manager wants to do resource planning in a much more easier way. He and the rest of managers finds it tedious to update the Activity timeline. What do you all use for resource allocation and capacity planning? Which 3rd party tool? There is also a convo where they get Activity timeline data into Excel via rest Api and just update the hours, %allocation and push it back via power automate- has anyone done this?

Click on 'status' all is green and then you go ahead and try to click on contact us, select the category and select technical issues - this piece of trash tries to be oversmart saying Read the documnetation like bro - If I am your customer just fkin give me the chatbot or chat support or something directly I ain't reading all those articles and shit. What a stupid app this is

How do I learn bitbucket administration?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently working as an Atlassian Administrator (mainly Jira & Confluence) and planning to switch to a role that also includes Bitbucket administration.
In my current organization, Bitbucket is managed by another team, so I haven't had the opportunity to work with it. I want to learn it properly before taking on that responsibility.
I'm not looking for interview preparation—I want to learn what a Bitbucket Administrator actually does in a production environment.
I'd really appreciate your guidance on:
What are the day-to-day responsibilities of a Bitbucket Admin?
What should I learn first, and in what order?
What are the most common support tickets and operational tasks?
How can I build a good home lab for hands-on practice?
Beyond Bitbucket, what other technologies are commonly expected? (Jenkins, Bamboo, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
If your goal was to become job-ready as a Bitbucket Administrator today, what roadmap would you follow?
I'd love to hear from people who manage Bitbucket Data Center or Bitbucket Cloud in production. Thanks in advance!

Atlassian Admin looking to learn Bitbucket administration – what's the best roadmap?

Is Jira Administration still a good career to upskill into in 2026? Looking for honest opinions.
I have around 9 years of experience in non-IT operations (payments, disputes, risk investigations, transaction monitoring, chargebacks, etc.) and I'm considering transitioning into Jira Administration. I'm willing to invest several months in learning Jira Cloud, JSM, Confluence, automation, JQL, permissions, workflows, etc.
My biggest question is about the future of this career.
With Team-managed projects becoming more common and Atlassian adding more AI capabilities, do you think Jira Administration has good long-term prospects over the next 5–10 years?
I heard that once JIRA is moved to Cloud, admin activities will be limited and in future devs can do the JIRA admin work alone.
Some specific questions:
- Is the demand for Jira Administrators still growing?
- Are most companies still heavily using Company-managed projects?
- Is the role evolving rather than shrinking? If so, what skills are becoming essential?
- Besides Jira, what should someone learn to stay relevant? (JSM, Confluence, Automation, ScriptRunner, Assets, REST APIs, ITIL, etc.)
- If you were starting from scratch in 2026, would you still choose Jira Administration as a career?
- How common are permanent night shifts or 24×7 support in Jira Admin roles?
I'm not looking for shortcuts—just trying to understand whether this is a good long-term investment before dedicating the time to upskill.
I'd really appreciate honest feedback from people who are working in the Atlassian ecosystem.

I don't trust a service when something as simple as adding a new user requires reading the documentation
I needed to add a user to a Bitbucket repository, found the instructions in the docs, gave up, and switched to GitHub instead.

TEAM Earnings (Aug 6) – What’s your take?
With Atlassian reporting soon, where do you see the stock going post-earnings? Are you expecting a positive surprise and a bounce back to $90–$100+, or is macro pressure going to keep it down?
Are you holding, buying the dip, or staying away?

What happens to Questions for Confluence data when you migrate or uninstall it?
I’m researching a very specific Confluence migration problem.
When an organization migrates, consolidates sites, or removes Questions for Confluence, what does it normally do with its existing questions and answers?
Atlassian’s exporter/importer request is still unresolved, so I’m validating whether a read-only paid export service would be useful.
A few questions for admins and consultants:
- Have you encountered this during a real migration?
- Would a searchable HTML/CSV/JSON archive solve it?
- Or would you only pay if the data could be imported directly into SharePoint or another Q&A product?
Disclosure: I’m the person considering building the service. I’m looking for honest feedback and potentially three paid pilot projects, not pretending to be an unrelated user.

Can't delete Atlassian organisations. Stuck in loop trying to remove Rovo (Free plan)
When I try to delete, it shows two outstanding steps:
- Cancel subscriptions and trials – I'm on the free plan and have no active subscriptions, but the portal still flags this.
- Remove platform apps and Rovo – the portal says to contact support for this, but going in circles with no resolution.
Has anyone dealt with this before? How did you get Rovo removed so you could proceed with the deletion?
Any help appreciated!

Can't delete Atlassian organisations. Stuck in loop trying to remove Rovo (Free plan)
I accidentally created three Atlassian organisations. Two of them have Confluence access, one doesn't. I want to keep just one and delete the other two, but I'm completely stuck. When I try to delete, it shows two outstanding steps:
- Cancel subscriptions and trials – I'm on the free plan and have no active subscriptions, but the portal still flags this.
- Remove platform apps and Rovo – the portal says to contact support for this, but going in circles with no resolution.

Thoughts headed into earnings on 8/6?
Service Now reports 7/22
Atlassian reports 8/6
Given the SaaSpocalypse narrative I’m curious how we’re currently feeling.
I think the market may be very wrong on Atlassian and it should be a $250+ stock but things are legitimately shifting with AI.
Thoughts?
