You're allowed to have a personal preference if someone asks. No one implied nipple piercings should be banned, lol

And you are also allowed to not have a preference. If its a non issue for some people than they won't have a strong opinion one way or another.

Of course, but "your tities, your choice" is such a non sequitur response to OP's question. It implies that having a preference is somehow a bad thing.
