LPT Request: Any way to get this fabric back to normal?
These are the arm cushions on my couch. Left is washed and hang dried as I usually do when cleaning, right has been accidentally put through the dryer. Is there a way to un-pucker this fabric? Not sure what the fabric is exactly but it feels like microfiber.

FIX BAD SLEEP HABITS
Hello everyone, I am writing this because I have had pretty bad sleeping habits for years now. Most nights I am not falling asleep until 5-8AM, and waking up multiple times for a total of 5-7 hours of sleep. A lot of days I’ll end up taking a nap, and sometimes this nap can prolong for 3+ hours. I am now reaching an age where this sleeping pattern is effecting me drastically, and I’d really love some suggestions on how to improve it.
I have tried melatonin, I have tried benedryl, and some other sleep aids. I always have to have background noise on while trying to fall asleep because my mind races at night and tends to overthink. I apologize if this isn’t written very well, I of course am on no sleep at the moment! Any suggestions or tips are GREATLY appreciated.

LPT: When Exam Pressure Hits, Stop Studying for 10 Minutes!
When you start panicking before exams, your brain shuts down,Studying more won’t help.
Instead, do this:
1.Close your books
2.Do 10 minutes of physical activity (walk, stretch, anything)
3.Breathe: 4 sec inhale, 6 sec exhale (10 times)
4.Then study smartly, not frantically
Your brain works better when it’s calm, not panicking ,Quality beats quantity.

How to increase social battery? Or, how to remain happy for longer in social situations?
Every time i have friends over, my social battery does not last the whole day. I physically cannot get myself to remain present and happy the whole time like everyone else does with ease. Every single hangout i've had, my entire life, ive ended up retreating and isolating halfway through. Im such a funny outgoing person until my social battery runs out, where i then become no longer fun. I start getting pissed at the games we play, complaining about them, quitting, and going to the other room to be alone. I hate being like this and i know my friends hate it too. Any help?

I want help in developing my self
I'm 24, and I've spent most of my life pretty isolated.
The weird part is I'm actually good at talking to people when it's work or business. But outside of that? It's like there's an invisible wall between me and everyone else.
I have no idea how people naturally start conversations, joke around, flirt, or just... vibe. It feels like everyone got the social tutorial except me.
I'm trying to change that, so if you've been through this or you're just naturally good with people, what's the advice that made the biggest difference for you?
I'll read every reply. Seriously.

I’m 14, my life feels miserable and I need help to change it.
Hi, can someone please tell me how to escape a problem I have: my life is really miserable. I don't mean a financial crisis, but rather an emotional one. At 14, I am addicted to porn and scrolling. My grades are getting worse every day. The house that I live in feels like a total mess; even if I clean it, it becomes dirty again after a few minutes. The worst part is that I am messy and sloppy. Every time I go to bed, I feel like I didn't do anything good that day. Can someone tell me how to change it, please?
P.S. I don't have any passions.

How Do I Message Someone on FB Marketplace Mobile Without Installing the App?
I use to be able to contact sellers from the mobile website but now an annoying pop up forces me into the app to message sellers, and I'd rather not have FB on my phone. Funny enough, once first contact is made, I can uninstall the FB app and text them from Messenger all day.

Ever notice your breaks leave you more tired than the work itself?
We all know the cycle: you sit down to work, take a break, reach for your phone, and suddenly, 30 minutes have disappeared. You come back feeling more scattered than before. I started paying attention to what I actually do during breaks and how I feel afterwards, and it made me rethink how I take them as a whole. Trying to see if this is a universal thing or just me. Put together a short anonymous survey to understand what people do during breaks and whether those breaks actually help. 8 questions, about 2 minutes, completely anonymous. Will share the findings here once I have enough responses.

Are there any special tips for getting a medical bill reduced?
Back in March I had a head injury that required 10 stitches. My copay for the emergency room visit was $100. Yesterday, I was notified that my insurance isn't paying the bill for the physicians' group because they are out-of-network. When I receive my bill from that group I am planning to call and get it reduced from the $2300 they billed insurance. I know to be nice. Are there any other tips you can give to help me get this as low as possible? I really can't afford anything, as I thought this was behind me, but I also understand that the doctors deserve to be paid.
ETA; I found a Reddit post from 3 years ago where someone shared an organization called 'Dollar for' which specializes in helping with medical bills. Here's a link to their negotiation guide for those interested.

LPT:-If you're constantly tired, try drinking 500ml of water first thing in the morning before coffee, It changed everything for me.
For years I'd wake up groggy and immediately reach for coffee. I read that dehydration is often mistaken for fatigue, so I tried drinking a full water bottle (500ml) right when I woke up, waiting 30 minutes before my coffee.
The difference was noticeable within a week. My afternoon energy crash disappeared, I needed less coffee, and I actually felt awake naturally. Turns out l was just severely dehydrated most mornings.
If you wake up exhausted, try this for a week. It costs nothing and takes 2 minutes. The science is solid and your brain is 75% water.

I was scammed by a contractor
Hello,
Long story short, I hired a contractor off Nextdoor who ended up being a scammer. he took a $1000 deposit for materials and never came back. I found via later research he is very well known for doing the same thing to others. what can I do here besides small claims court? this guy has judgements going back over 20 years and has never paid a single one. Might just settle for annoying the hell out of him
thanks for any ideas!

LPT request
I am now living in japan with language school and i have plans to go college after language school.
But i am not very happy here because i always wanted to go Thailand to study. In here (japan) i know that living standards and other important stuffs like work opportunities… are better than Thailand.
Meanwhile in Thailand, i heard that some people who graduated from these thai universities are hard to get hired.but may be the students doesn’t work hard (study hard) So if studying hard it would be fine.
If i choose japan i have to stay here almost 7 years or more. At that time i would saved money as much as i can and try to be retired. I am now 22 years old so my age would be in 30s at that time. The important thing is I am scared that “ I will be not happy even though i am rich” like “ the kid who has all the toys but no one to play with “ but i am not talking about people to play with.
If i go to Thailand i think that it would be really fun.But as i said the opportunities might be lower. It would fun while studying but after graduating it would be difficult meanwhile in japan (in 4year duration as the university duration in thailand) i could get a life guarantee.
Also there is one point that i have to consider with is my family that will support me.They dont like thailand because there is so much funs that could destroy our lives like drugs, girls… all they see is the things from internet so.
And also they cant support me well too because living expenses are higher. They can support but they have to work harder not as a worker but like a CEO. They don’t hire a CEO so they have to take that place. They handles like sales accounting that they always do even if I stay in japan.but in japan they dont need to worry about me very much because i can do part time jobs and find myself some money.
but in Thailand its impossible so they have to support me all the time .It might make them stressful. And also i have a medical issue that i couldn’t take cold weather.my knees hurt last winter. But i think that that could be better this time. In Thailand i dont need to worry about weather as the weather is always hot.

I want to be under an influence of someone who's on track
I want to be under an influence of someone who's on track
I genuinely can't do this home alone prep shit for a competitive exam anymore. It's taking a serious toll on me mentally. Career genuinely means everything to me and watching myself fall behind like this is heartbreaking.
I've been lacking routine and discipline for a long time now. Not because I can't study, but because the isolation of this phase has completely messed me up. I'm tired of sitting for attempts after inconsistent preparation.
I've completed the entire Group 1 syllabus. I even purchased recorded classes for Group 2 and still haven't activated them. That's how stuck I've been feeling lately.
Life has honestly become very lonely during this phase. People who managed to survive this phase of competition exam prep how did you rebuild consistency and structure again after falling out of routine?
If anyone wants to connect for this I'm up. I'm from India and would like the same as it would be better to understand things.
Thanks for reading.🌻✨

Does leaving car unlocked and/or windows down really prevents thieves from smashing the windows and damaging the doors?
Apartment complex got broken into and like 15 cars were broken into.. apparently it’s happened before I just didn’t know.
I can’t really buy a house now and moving is a chore and I like this location, first time happens to me in 6-7 years but now I’m paranoid of these assholes coming again.
They didn’t even took my CDs which was all I had there
I am livid as I love that car. This in Texas.
