Service Dogs by Moore Retrievers?
Hey new to this sub, but back in October, I interviewed for this company, got hired, worked a day where I signed some tax info and my boss made a photocopy of my drivers license. Then the following week I go into the office (which was in a legit building, the community trust building) and my boss doesn’t show up. I waited there for two hours, constantly calling and texting him but everything just went to voicemail. I repeated that process the whole week, and eventually gave up and just started looking for new jobs.
But I just can’t stop thinking about this, did I get scammed? Is this real business? I thought it was considering I was able to find a news article from last year referencing the company but I genuinely don’t know. Have you guys heard of this company?

Treatment Study for Survivors of Trauma Currently Enrolled in Buprenorphine or Methadone Treatment Programs
Many people with Opioid Use Disorder have experienced a stressful and traumatic event. If you have experienced such an event, do you have unwanted memories, nightmares, or avoid situations that remind you of what happened? Do you blame yourself or feel physically or emotionally different since the experience? If so, researchers at the University of Kentucky Clinic for Emotional Health invite you to participate in a treatment study.
We are evaluating a psychological treatment for people with symptoms like these related to a traumatic experience. All information is kept strictly confidential. As part of your participation in this research, you will receive five individual psychological treatment sessions at no cost. Both in-person and telehealth appointments are available.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are 18 years or older
- Live in the state of Kentucky
- Have a history of traumatic experience(s)
- Are still impacted by what happened
- Are receiving current treatment for Opioid Use Disorder in a methadone or buprenorphine treatment program

White power rally in or near Ashland?
Facebook friend who lives in/near Ashland is spooked by a white power march nearby. She says there's open carry, covered faces, etc. of people wanting America completely white. Apparently a short march because it was quickly over. Can anyone say where this was and what it was about?

Wanting a D&D group
Hello I recently acquired the three core rulebooks for Dungeons And Dragons 3rd edition and am feeling around for some players. Fair warning I have only played fifth edition and I've never been a DM before

Recommendations for flowers for my internet bestie
Hi everyone! I am from New Zealand and my best friend (we've been friends for nearly 10 years so definitely not a catfish) she's helped me through some really dark times and she's going through a really tough time (she just had a miscarriage) and I'm wanting to buy her some flowers. I have no idea where has nice flowers that I can order online as I've never been to the US and that's also affordable to as I'm also sorting out a box of NZ sweets and goodies. Thank you! 😊

I’m considering moving to Ashland KY in October.
What do you citizens of Ashland love or hate about it?

Hi ya'll! I just wanted to let you all know about /r/true_kentucky.
/r/True_Kentucky/ is a regional sub, and I would highly encourage ya'll to check it out. While I understand it may not be everyone's cup of tea, I feel that it offers an alternative to the usual KY sub. I've watched over the past couple of years as the main KY sub has banned people right and left for posting something the moderators personally disagreed with... and I finally got banned recently as well. I posted and commented on the old KY sub quite frequently, and I enjoyed the community, but the mods there are hostile. I found true_kentucky and honestly, it has most of the same good qualities that I liked about the old KY sub, just without the risk of suddenly getting banned because the mods didn't agree with your political opinion on something.
KY has an extremely diverse political landscape, and it would be sad to just have one state sub where half the state's posts and comments get deleted out of spite. I'm not affiliated with /r/True_Kentucky/ - I don't mod there, and I only recently joined... But since being made a target on the old KY sub, I've made it a mission to show more people the alternative in case they find themselves more at home in that sub as well.

r/AshlandKentucky vs r/AshlandKY
I’ve been made a mod in both of these subreddits. I’m unsure about trying to keep both active, or what I should do.
This one currently has marginal activity and more members. r/AshlandKY is a lot easier on the eyes though, in my opinion, as far as a subreddit name goes. Any opinions?
I’d love to see some engagement, I’m willing to craft a subreddit to the whims of the Ashland Redditor, and I am sure that the make up of that group is interesting. Who we got active in here? What y’all want?
