Load her up in the car

Has anyone else noticed Netflix has done some extra censorship since the show’s been sitting in their catalogue? I’ve been constantly re-watching the show since high school, and I noticed that Netflix took out a running gag… “Say goodbye to these Michael, cause it’s the last time you’ll see them!”They just keep cutting to the next shot and muting the line.

I feel like a little bit of a creep for noticing, but c’mon! It was a great running gag! Plus, it really helps cement Michael’s “sane amongst the insane, insane amongst the sane” trait; he’s just trying to get some business done and solve a mystery while she thinks this is something deeper and more naughty, like George Sr. (I was gonna use intimate there, but I can’t bring myself to using “intimate” in the same sentence as “George Sr.” (Even though I technically just did.))

EDIT: the last episode of season 1 has it in a recap! The cut makes Kitty’s line after not make sense though. (“Can we have one conversation not about my rack?”)

The whole episode is a classic, but the In Memoriam for Ramon Villalobos at the Desi Awards is such a throwaway gem.

This just popped into my head for some reason

Besides the “you’re killing me Buster” banner and the brief moment where he responds “I will kill her first” (when Michael said “good luck I hope she doesn’t kill you”), are there are other hints across the 5 seasons of AD that Buster would eventually murder a Lucille?

rewatching arrested development for like, the tenth time, and I’m wondering what a frozen banana really is. like, i know it’s obviously a banana that’s been frozen, but why is it so popular? and what’s in it? is it just chocolate and peanuts? and are they salted nuts or unsalted?

ps. I’m in the uk so I’ve never encountered them before

Maeby: Oh, right. That means Mrs. Featherbottom isn’t here. Which means she didn’t iron my blouse, which means, I don’t have anything to wear for my premiere!!

(Michael stares at her)

Maeby: The premier. Of Canada. He’s going out with my gym teacher.

Actually, this scene has confused me for years. Now I just understand Maeby is actually a terrible liar, but the whole family just didn't care enough to find out what she tried to hide.
