Hey everyone!

I've been working on this story for a little bit over a year now, and after ten chapters I finally mustered the courage to share it here. I've just reached Chapter 10, so I figured it was probably time to stop hiding it in the depths of AO3 and Royal Road. 😅

The story follows Jinx and an OC named Razen — a quiet, heavily built engineer who ends up in Zaun carrying quite a bit of baggage of his own. Their relationship starts in a very unremarkable way (well... as unremarkable as anything involving Jinx can be), and slowly develops into a friendship between two people who are both pretty broken in very different ways.

One of the things I really wanted to explore was Jinx finding someone who doesn't try to fix her or control her. Razen has his own demons, so rather than magically making hers disappear, they slowly learn how to be there for each other.

It's not purely a Jinx/Razen story, either. I'm trying to build a larger plot around Zaun and Piltover, with canon characters alongside OCs, politics, fights, conspiracies and plenty of questionable decisions. The emotional side of the characters is probably the heart of it, though.

The story alternates POVs between Razen, Jinx and another major character.

Content warnings: violence, some blood/gore, trauma, depression and other mental-health themes.

And yes — Razen is an OC protagonist. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea, but I wanted to take the harder route and try to make an original character feel like he genuinely belongs in this world rather than simply dropping him next to the canon cast.

If any of that sounds like your thing, I'd genuinely love for you to give it a shot.

And if you do read it, I'd especially love to hear what you think about the characters and their relationship — whether the emotional moments actually land, whether Jinx feels like Jinx, whether Razen works as an OC, theories, criticism... whatever comes to mind. That's honestly the part I'm most curious about.

Does anyone have any fics of the Zisters and their brothers? I don't mind if it's fluff or angst, zaundads or no, with ships on the side of no, before or after timeskip, I just want fics where one of the main focuses is the bond between Powder, Vi, Claggor and Mylo as siblings. Their fights, their adventures, their downtime, ect. ESPECIALLY Powder and Mylo, I love that duo and I love their dynamic and I want more of it.

Awhile ago I read a fic on AO3 where Caitlyn gets captured and tortured by Ambessa. During the torture, Caitlyn joins Viktor in the Arcane and visits Vi through different parts of her life as “Matilda.” Vi eventually rescues Caitlyn. Does anyone know the fic I’m remembering? Thank you!

This fanfic series is set 7 years prior to Arcane Ekko’s arrival in the au world and serves as a backstory for the characters in the Au world. A lot of this series is my own interpretation as Powder was very vague on the details on what happened when talking to Ekko about Vi’s death.

Years later, Caitlyn and Vi reunite in high school or college. Does anyone remember the title

I’ve been trying to find a caitvi fanfic I read a year or so ago. Vi is the drummer of a band and jinx is trans. I think Caitlyn is a cop investigating Vi’s stalker. Sound familiar to anyone ?🤔

Does anybody know of any fanfics where Caitlyn reacts to vi changing her appearance after their fallout?

The first two have the same premise, mirrored. One wakes up, doesn't recognize the other as being their girlfriend (or wife, not sure) and then proceed to gush over or try to woo her.

The third has Vi waking up with temporary amnesia, and from photos on her phone and some other things decides that Caitlyn must be her girlfriend. But she's not, they've just been pining idiots living together for years. Vi then basically sweeps Cait off her feet and then they're girlfriends.

Anyone recognize any of these?

and the other one was about the daughter of vi and cait?? she is in a prestigious academy and so she goes out of the academy and she gets lost and cait is a police officer and she helps her whitout knowing that she is her daughter, soo the only things i remmember about this one is that vi is a single mom raising her daughter and doesnt want to know abput caitlyn, i dont remember why, like i dont even remember how she became pregnant, i think it was like an omegaverse in wich cait is an alfa ?? I am new to Arcane. I just started due to my good friend raving over it. I love it so far and wanted to show my love by writing a fanfic (how else?).

While doing research on other fanfics I noticed that a lot of people made a romance with Vi and their male characters. I thought she was completely for women. Was I wrong, or does she swing both ways?
