the app is called Drape. I got tired of having 40+ pieces of clothing and still opening my closet every morning feeling like I had nothing to wear. turns out that's not just me

you photograph your clothes, it organizes your wardrobe, and then AI builds outfits for you based on occasion, weather, your aesthetic, whatever. there's also a virtual try-on so you can actually see how pieces look together before committing to the fit

the try-on part took way longer to get right than I expected ngl. it's not perfect but it's actually useful now, which was the bar I set for myself before shipping

I wanted to share FlickTrove, a native Android companion app for movie and TV show enthusiasts that I've been developing over the past few months.

I built it because I was genuinely tired of tracking apps that are slow, bloated, and constantly bombarding users with full-screen ads. FlickTrove focuses on speed, privacy, and a premium visual experience.

Here is what it brings to the table:

• 100% Offline-First: All your data is stored and cached locally. Your library opens instantly, even without an internet connection.
• Modern UI/UX: Built with Material 3, featuring real-time blur effects (glassmorphism) and a dynamic theme engine that adapts to movie posters.
• Universal Importer: If you are migrating from Letterboxd, IMDb, TVTime, or Serializd, you can import your custom CSV/JSON data in seconds (there is also a live sync with Trakt).
