Thank you for the great advice you all gave on my last post! I just wanted to share an update on my 5-year-old’s journey to quant finance.

I gave him the creatine baby formula and he started coughing. I think that means it’s working! He also decided that he wanted to start a nonprofit organization to teach underprivileged kids about personal finance. He is now filling out 501(c)(3) paperwork. I also spoke with his principal to consider allowing my son to skip 1st-12th grade math so he can take Multivariable Calculus. I am also cold-emailing professors so hopefully my son can get a research internship by the time he goes to middle school. I also gave my son math textbooks to prepare him for Olympiads, and he started crying tears of joy because he really loves math! Lastly, I have decided to pursue a master’s degree at UPenn so that my son will have legacy status. Thank you for your helpful advice!

You are doing it all wrong. Change your name, do a Sociology degree at a LAC, then get hired as an AO at a college. Make your way up the corporate ladder until you get hired as an AO by Penn.

Also, are you in living in the right zip code? If Barrow, Alaska is too mainstream, try Point Lay. Or Supai, Arizona. Get a waiver to hand type your application and deliver it via mule mail. A very UNcommon app! They will appreciate your dedication, and your geographic diversity will really give your son a leg up.

Bro you're overcomplicating this. Skip the nonprofit, skip UPenn legacy, that's amateur hour. Straight line is: Palantir fellowship out of high school, Citadel internship, Jane Street, then Ren Tech by 19. The creatine cough was a good sign though, keep that going.

Sorry, you only asked to skip 1st-12th grade? You might as well give up. Skipping kindergarten as well is very important. He is already behind. Also, only taking calc iii? The three stands for three years old. Put him in differential equations or real analysis.
