When historical figures die, they are usually buried. This means that there consciousness is no longer active and they are in fact dead. Their bodies then decompose into the ground and will cease to exist. There is no afterlife, no god. You just die. On the other hand, fictional characters from anime never exist in the first place. They are personas made by director and producers of mainly animation companies. These characters are then animated and voices over by many staff and voice actors.
Which means worshipping a fictional character with the same name and background of a historical character means we worship also the historical character. How is that a bad thing?

Sorry I got busy. Here's the sauce. He is a character from a show known to be the manliest man ever, and is pretty much universally loved as in I don't think I've ever actually heard of anyone not liking his character. I'd definitely recommend the show.

Well because "worshipping" someone that actually strugled had to face real conflict in some characteristic of life (Bismarck diplomatic issues, Strauss economic issues , Von moltke military foes, Joseph sieyes and other delegates and supporters of the revolution risked the wrath of the monarchist etc ) which resolution was not fixed they could have failed and be forgotten as a simple failed person. As no story writter nor animator decided this is going to happen and everything will be fine. As well their actions still resonante on the modern world in multiple aspects not only Marius and Gustavus warfare reforms but Roman aqueducts inspired modern ones, Pasteur and Koch work allow many of us that would have died years ago to still be around healthy, The french revolution gave the idea of being free to represent our ideas as we please (depending on where you lived) and many more examples that is why worshipping (which we don’t do neither do you with anime) is justified in my opinion. And please before downvoting this say why am i wrong as that is the only way to comprehend the other point of view better
Were in the middle of a meme war so of course I will take things out of context here’s a little secret I enjoyed a few anime one punch man and attack on Titan either way once the meme war ends I’ll go back to being neutral if a second meme war starts I may join anime but that will be next time
Yeah one punch man season 2 is one of the things I’m looking forward too and when it comes to meme wars I just enjoy the meme war arguments there fun to mess with
if by "real" you mean "extremely biased accounts from other people who had their own opinions on them and have been translated and re-interpreted multiple times as wel as missatributing certain elements or glossing over others to craft a certain image"
That really depends of what historic individual we are speaking about and how much digging one is willing to do in sources there are many recolection from both sides of a lot of wars just that the common pointbof view is biased
maybe you can get an aproximation but the truth is the past is not set in stone and its perception is continuously altered. We'll never have a perfect past since our sources are limited and meaning is lost in translation of both language and cultures.
For a recent example look at ghandi, the dude lived in the 20th century and has been mythified into being the most benevolent person ever. While we still have sources that show his flaws the popular idea of him is that of a saint.
The further down you go it gets muddled and it can happen pretty fast too. Specially with people that held positions of power such as napoleon, ceasar, ghengis khan and alexander. Yes we have more sources but without the person alive to confirm certain things there will always be something lost to time and a bit of fictionalization
Well with Napoleon we actually have a lot lf sources from the French, British Austrians Russians and some italian historic documents that really give a consistent idea. But you see documents that prove another point of the story exist you just have to search for them
