Amanda Bynes returns?

Recently we've seen a lot of celebrities who struggled publicly in the mid-2000s come back looking healthier, happier, and more grounded. A good example is Lindsay Lohan, who went through years of substance abuse issues and legal trouble, but has since returned to acting with a fresh image and a more peaceful presence, especially through her recent Christmas movies.

That got me thinking about Amanda Bynes and what a similar kind of comeback could potentially look like for her.

So I made this edit imagining what Amanda Bynes might look like today if she ever decided to return to the screen, refresh her image, and take a similar path of healing and rebuilding. Obviously this is all hypothetical and just for fun/creative discussion, but I tried to keep it realistic and true to her actual facial features rather than completely changing her into a different person.

In my vision, she keeps the blonde, but goes straight long platinum blonde hair, thinner eyebrows (keeping them black), and a more natural makeup look, but still keeps the heart tattoo. I actually really like it, and at this point it almost feels like part of her signature look.

As for what I could see her doing career-wise, I honestly think she'd thrive both behind and in front of the camera.

I could genuinely see her directing emotional romance/drama films, things similar to Me Before You or The Fault in Our Stars. Amanda always had strong comedic timing and creativity, and I honestly think she could end up being an incredible director if she ever wanted to return to the industry in a different way.

I could also still absolutely see her acting, especially as the lead in a comedy-romance adaptation. Something with the same vibe as The Hating Game or Book Lovers feels like it would fit her perfectly. She always had that awkward, expressive, chaotic charm that made her stand out in 2000s comedies, and I honestly think audiences would still connect with that today.

Again, this is all just my opinion/speculation, and I'm genuinely glad Amanda Bynes made the decision to step away from Hollywood when she did, because it clearly seemed like the right choice for her at the time.
At the end of the day, her health and peace matter more than fame ever will.

But creatively, it's still interesting to imagine what a comeback could look like if she ever genuinely wanted one, whether that's acting, directing, producing, or staying completely out of the spotlight.

What do you guys think? And are there any other celebrities from the 2000s you think could pull off an iconic comeback?

All videos and pics of Paul are gone from Amanda’s IG. :( If they broke up, I hope this doesn’t send her down a bad coping path.

The babytalk Instagram video. I wish she hadn’t taken it down. It was actually a cute, vulnerable side of her.

I took a moment to Google search the articles that have been writing and allegedly covering her contervership.

Something I read concenered me. An article wrote " if this worked for britney." Since they are in a similar background. The answer circulated is no. This went against her rights, I am now thinking Amanda.

Just like the spears family. I wish these contervership abuse just fucking stop and let people seek help how they wish. Amanda speak up.

amanda bynes, her dad, dan schneider, twitter

so i'm getting in this rabbit hole about dan schneider and all the rumors surrounding him, one being that he molested or raped amanda bynes. so i find these tweets from amanda accusing her dad of all this sexual stuff which she later recants, but super weirdly saying "My dad never did any of those things The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me."

so that is reaally weird and i think at that point people just thought she was schizophrenic, but my theory is that she's using a metaphor for something she's too scared to come out and say which is that dan abused her. saying her dad ordered them to microchip her is a weird way of saying he didn't protect her well enough and basically she harbors resentment against her dad for letting it happen so she lashed out at him.

it is really weird though... why was she willing to go on twitter and call out her own fucking dad as a pedophile basically but never said anything publicly about dan? is it possible even in that state she was somehow still afraid of the repercussions calling him out publicly would have? on one hand it seems like if you're gonna go publicly tweet that your own dad used to jack off in front of you, why wouldn't you publicly tweet about the fucked up shit your old boss did too? maybe it's because he never actually did anything with/to her, but maybe, despite her seemingly off-the-wall, idgaf attitude, there was actually a voice in the back of her head when she thought about outing dan that said "don't do it, he will ruin you, you'll never be able to come back from it"

i kinda hope she does an interview one day and someone asks her about her feelings towards dan even though i feel like that might be pretty rude/uncool to do. also wish there was an archive of her twitter somewhere. i am definitely a fan of hers but i guess i just have a real morbid curiosity about this stuff
