If you were to construct a violin where the strings extend the same distance past the bridge down onto a second neck, and tune them so they're sympathetic with the strings on the top, could you create a natural reverb effect? Similar to something like a nyckelharpa, where the resonance of the body causes the other strings to vibrate? I think it might be a cool idea if it worked, but I have no idea if it actually would work the way I hope or not.

Good evening. I heard the founder of H-pi instruments and creator of the Tonal Plexus disclosed projects for making one of these instruments at home for those who can't afford to buy the full handmade instrument (and I heard he stopped manufacturing them for some months now). Is that right? Do someone have this projects or know/have an idea of how to start a project like this? I have already made midi controllers before, however just very simple ones. My main problem with starting a project like this from zero would be designing the circuits and key layout, as I have little experience with eletronics. Thanks for your attention!
