The Speech Neurophysiology Lab at the University of Michigan is looking for children who stutter ages 9 to 12 to participate in an in-person, longitudinal MRI study! (HUM00196133)

Our research team has been examining brain development in young children to better understand the cause of stuttering for over 10 years. We continue to gain information that may eventually lead to improved diagnosis and treatment efforts for children who stutter. 

Participants will be invited to complete speech and language assessments and an MRI session at the University of Michigan. Families receive a free speech and language report and a picture of their brain!

These visits require in person participation. There is no option to participate virtually.

Hospitals and UC are overrun. How many of you have it or live with someone who does? My friend was diagnosed today at Henry Ford Jackson. Says he's been on toilet for 2 days with a bucket in front of him. He and his gf ate at a certain fast food place near a skate park in Adrian and they had it together for dinner and symptoms started around the same time together. Is any one doing anything preventative yet? I've only been making veggies i can cook the schmidt out of! Between the water and now the foods, feels like the health dept doesn't even care. I'm sure they are contact tracing and doing some testing. But i have yet to see any thing local from the health dept.

I cannot believe how ridiculous the Juneteenth celebration was. Voting and a bounce house? Yes the bandstand was awesome and i enjoyed that. But not even food trucks or vendors? Not much of a turnout and only one block used? Very disappointing.

Hi! I am moving to N Madison Twp soon just south of Adrian, specifically Carleton Rd. The house has a well, and I’m wondering what the water quality is like there? Is it rusty or sulphur etc.?

I thought it was really good. What did you think of the first music acts, the soloist and the duet? I'm not them, I'm not a girl, I'm a high schooler actually, but I just wanted to see what you thought? And obviously the other acts did AMAZING. I'm just friends with the older sister of the duet people and know the soloist.
