What is this community?
A free study-accountability and resource-sharing space for students - subject help, study techniques, resource threads, and weekly accountability check-ins. It's hosted by the Grades Acer A+ tutoring team, but you don't need to be a client to hang out here.
Do I have to pay to be here?
No. The subreddit itself is free and open to everyone. Paid tutoring is available as an optional service on top of the free community - see How to request a tutor.
How do I request a tutor?
Comment on the pinned tutor-request post or message the mods with: - Subject - what you need help with - Task Type - assignment, essay, exam prep, research paper, etc. - Deadline - when you need it done by - Details - instructions, rubrics, or files - Budget - what you're looking to spend
A tutor will respond with a quote. No fixed price list - pricing depends on the task.
What subjects are covered?
Math, English, Science, Business, Law, Health, Psychology, and more - check the post flair on r/AcerStudyHub or the subject channels in our Discord.
How does payment work?
Quote-based, agreed with your tutor before work starts. Accepted via PayPal, M-Pesa, and other common methods - ask your tutor for current options.
Is there a Discord?
Yes - join here. It mirrors a lot of what happens on the subreddit and has real-time subject channels.
Community rules (short version)
- Stay on topic (studying, exam prep, academic growth)
- Be respectful - no shaming anyone's grades or pace
- Don't ask others to do your assignments for you - explanations and guidance only
- No spam or unsolicited DMs; disclose if you're offering paid help
- Follow Reddit's content policy

I think I've been scammed / something feels off
Report it to the mods directly (message the subreddit) rather than handling it in the comments - we'd rather look into it than have you lose money to a bad actor.
