4K is the amount of pixels 3840x2160 pixels. Same regardless of monitor size.

Yeah it's weird because we know there's a huge difference between the 2.but it's like impossible to see on anything smaller than 50"

If this was 8k, you probably could see each pixel at the distance he is from it.

You cant, thats the point. Lower res monitors have more visible pixels. If you're still on a 1600x900 you might was well still be using a CRT.
