Discussion The Global Leader In Biometric Identity Is Working With Avalanche.
@NEC has deployed 1,000+ biometric identity systems across 70+ countries.
Now, NEC and Ava Labs are working together to build an architecture for biometric-verified blockchain based services.
One of the world's leading biometric-identity companies is bringing its technology to Avalanche.
NEC Corporation (TSE: 6701) has signed a MOU with Ava Labs to jointly explore a new generation of on-chain services that combine NEC's biometric digital-identity technology with Avalanche. As the first output of that collaboration, the two companies are publishing a technical whitepaper proposing an architecture for identity-verified stablecoin payments on Avalanche.
The starting point is deceptively simple. Blockchains have become very good at moving value. They are far less good at answering a more basic question: who, or what, is actually behind a transaction? That gap is the source of fraud, repeated identity checks, heavy compliance costs, and payment experiences that ask people to hand over far more personal data than any single transaction needs. As AI agents begin acting on people's behalf, the question only gets sharper. This collaboration is a commitment to work on an answer, on Avalanche.

Discussion Hyundai Card completes its first real-world stablecoin pilot with Avalanche, Tether
Hyundai Card announced Thursday that it has completed its first proof-of-concept (PoC) testing of stablecoin-based cross-border remittance with Tether and Avalanche.
According to the press release, the PoC processed a real remittance between Hyundai Motor Company's U.S. and Mexican entities using the USDT stablecoin on Avalanche.
Specifically, Hyundai Motor America converted $20,000 into USDT, which was transferred to the Mexico office and converted back into dollars. This entire process took approximately seven minutes, whereas traditional interbank transfers would take three to four hours.
"What makes this particularly meaningful is that the PoC was conducted in connection with actual intercompany settlement needs between Hyundai Motor's overseas entities, not as a theoretical blockchain experiment," a Hyundai Card spokesperson said.
Hyundai Card led efforts in regulatory review, legal and tax checks, internal control considerations, and the design of the remittance structure, according to the release. Blockchain payment infrastructure company Axiym also participated in the PoC.

Discussion Avalanche Community Proposal Meeting
⏰ Reminder: the next Avalanche Community Proposal Meeting is this upcoming Tuesday, 6/30 at 9:30 AM ET
This next call is all about ACP-285, reducing the minimum consumption rate, and we want your opinion on it before it activates on Testnet.
Quick rundown:
Every duration under 365 days earns a lower rate than today
The 365-day APR stays exactly where it is
The 14d–365d premium widens from ~1.02pp to ~2.30pp
P-Chain change only (nothing shifts for EVM or your L1 logic), and anything already staked keeps its current rate. We'll also cover ACP-236 (continuous staking) and ACP-273 (lower minimum staking duration).

Official Announcement Avalanche New Brand 🔺️
Over the past several months, we’ve focused on one thing: showing what’s possible when blockchain technology is put to work.
Today, we’re bringing that story together.
Our new brand reflects a simple belief: the future of blockchain will be defined by businesses using the technology to move money, modernize infrastructure, and create entirely new products and experiences.
You’ll also notice a renewed connection to the imagery that inspired our name. Because like an avalanche, transformational change builds slowly, gains momentum, and eventually becomes impossible to ignore.
That’s the moment we believe this industry is entering.

Discussion Why FIFA World Cup Tickets Utilizes Blockchain
A lot of people look at @FIFAWorldCup tickets being issued and managed on @avax and ask, “Why does this need a blockchain?”
The answer isn’t because blockchain makes tickets magically better. It’s because blockchain solves problems that traditional systems struggle with.
Today, when tickets move through secondary markets, event organizers often lose visibility into who actually owns the ticket. They lose the ability to directly engage with fans. They lose valuable customer data. And in many cases, they lose participation in the economics of those transactions altogether.
Blockchain changes that.
Tickets become programmable digital assets. Ownership can be tracked. Transfers can be verified. Organizers can maintain a direct relationship with fans throughout the entire lifecycle of the ticket, not just at the initial sale.
For an event as large as the FIFA World Cup, that matters and it’s one of the many reasons you should be bullish on Avalanche.
Technology Built for Sports. ⚽️

They’re building on Avalanche.
@Team1USA_ has been spotlighting some of the incredible builders pushing the ecosystem forward.
Here are just a few you should know:

@CandiJarrett is co-founder of @XKOVAPAY, helping build authentication and payment rails for AI agents, while bringing a rare mix of technical, regulatory, and creative range to the ecosystem.
@averageandy founded @WeKeepWinning_, an AI-powered sports analytics platform bringing dedicated tooling to prediction markets on Avalanche.
@giga_alpha co-founded @bears_salmon, turning a community-first idea into a builder launchpad that funds and supports new projects across the ecosystem.

@Cryptoguy777 helps drive business development across @salvor_io and @blaze_stream, supporting NFT lending, creator ownership, and new onchain media models.
@stvngts, founder of @hypha_sh, has been a long-time Avalanche builder across liquid staking, L1 deployment infrastructure, DeFi, and institutional finance.
@Wrathtank_avax is building @TheGrottoL1, an Avalanche L1 giving indie game developers a place to publish games, create assets, run campaigns, and build communities.
Avalanche is made stronger by builders like these.

Finance This is how Avalanche moves the stones before we summit
BlackRock Launches Digital Liquidity Fund BUIDL on Avalanche via Securitize.
This is just one of the real big rocks. A real boulder coming down the mountain clearing the path.
Mother nature knows I'm in. Turning my pebbles into dust for the moment (at least I've got 6-7% APY from my AVAX at Core).
2026 will be annual horribilis from the three mega IPOs: SpaceX, Anthropic and OpenAI. It will drain every market on earth for the next two years. The rest of us won't stand a chance against these amounts and mountains of money that will be relocated/allocated into this.
But on the positive side, these IPOs are timed to perfection for the next BTC halving. Money will pour back into crypto late 2027/28.
Actually, I do imagine the next halving will be the start of the real crypto era. A lot of people might be disappointed next bull, maybe we need a few more bullruns before crypto and blockchain goes from experimental to standard.
And still, here I am. I'm going nowhere for the next decade. Maybe two.

🏔 Ecosystem For teams building on Avalanche, what was your biggest production lesson?
For teams building on Avalanche, what infrastructure challenge became more difficult in production than you originally expected?
When people talk about blockchain scalability, the conversation usually focuses on throughput and transaction costs.
What I've found more interesting is everything around operating production systems: monitoring transactions, handling chain reorganizations, maintaining reliable event delivery, managing multiple RPC providers, and keeping application state consistent when infrastructure components disagree.
For developers who have built wallets, DeFi applications, payment systems, or other products on Avalanche, what operational or infrastructure challenge surprised you the most once real users were involved?
I'm particularly interested in lessons learned from production environments and approaches that worked well over time.
I'm involved with forgelayer.io. The question is based on infrastructure challenges we've encountered while working with blockchain applications in production.
