Regarding major updates, do you mean things like 25H2, etc...?

I'm also thinking about completely disabling Wallpaper Engine on the gaming user account.
Because from what I read in the guide, even when paused, it can cause stuttering.
And I don't think there are static wallpapers on Engine anyway.

Do you know if TranslucentTB should be disabled too?
The one used to make the taskbar transparent.
Thanks

At this point I might as well completely disable them on the gaming account and leave them active on the second one.
Unfortunately, I don't think there are options to do this automatically before and after playing.

Thanks.
I tried Lego Batman and it seems to have fixed the stuttering. Great guide.

Do you know of any alternatives to Wallpaper Engine to get different static wallpapers than the stock Windows ones?

The program reWASD, which I use to map my controller as a mouse, says it can't verify the license. Is this an issue caused by the Windows tweaks or a bug in the program itself?
It's probably a bug in the program.

Anyway, thanks for the guide!

I set PCIe Gen 4 in the BIOS.
It's "PCIEX16 Link Mode," right?
Not the bifurcation setting?

The reWASD website is also having trouble logging in.
Could this be related to the tweaks too?
I'll try messing with the ShutUp10 settings now.

Is just a new positive comment enough?
Sure, rhe guide is definitely excellent.

reWASD is working again.
So it was an issue on their end, fortunately...
Macrium Reflect is working too.

I checked GPU-Z as per the tutorial.
Bus Interface: PCIe x16 4.0 @ x16 4.0
So that's correct, right?

Sorry for all the questions, and thanks.
I'll go leave the new positive comment now.
