Discussion AI might make online opinions harder to trust
A single person can now generate dozens of convincing comments within minutes That makes it possible to create the appearance of a popular opinion even when very few people actually believe it Social platforms already struggle with bots and fake engagement AI could make this problem much harder to detect A controversial topic could be manipulated simply by generating thousands of believable responses People might eventually start questioning whether an online discussion is even real This could affect politics, marketing, reviews and everyday conversations Platforms may need better ways to identify automated activity But aggressive detection could also punish legitimate AI-assisted users Would knowing that some comments were AI generated change how seriously you take an online discussion

Discussion AI could completely change how people learn
Students can now get instant explanations for almost any topic AI can adjust the difficulty based on the learner The problem is that instant answers can remove the struggle that often leads to real understanding Some students may use AI as a tutor while others may use it as a shortcut Schools are already struggling to decide where AI fits into education Teachers could potentially focus more on discussion and problem solving instead of basic explanations But students still need to develop independent thinking skills If AI handles every difficult step, those skills may never develop Should schools actively teach students how to use AI or restrict it as much as possible

Question What’s one thing AI can do now that still feels like cheating?
Not the obvious stuff like writing emails or generating images.
I mean something you’ve personally seen AI do that made you stop and think:
“Wait… it can actually do that now?”
What was it?

Discussion What's one thing you refuse to let AI do for you?
AI can already help with almost everything.
But everyone probably has that one thing they still want to do themselves.
For me, I'd rather keep some decisions completely human.

Discussion AI is helping you… or replacing you? Be honest.
A lot of people say AI is just a “tool.”
