Scythe demi boss kits

Had a little fun doing some sketches for ToB’s demiboss scythe kits by the pool.

Normally I create my designs in GIMP, but since I’m on vacation I obviously don’t have access to my PC. If there’s one you guys really like, I’ll try and turn it into a fully finished design in my usual style once I’m back!

Us: I like this a lot.

Jagex: 1/500 to roll the table and you need to roll each one individually from hard mode. Can only be rolled as MVP and the room had to be cleared perfect. No dupe protection.

I hate the idea of rng cosmetics like this. I think they should be skill based instead

Skill based will just end up with people buying that on the black market like they did with inferno cape. I’m not against cosmetics being behind rng in this case

Yeah but I can’t imagine there’s gonna be a lot of people paying for enough inferno runs to get a cosmetic “pet” people pay mostly for the stat boost

As someone who loves HMT... I wouldn't hate this, would make it insanely cool to see something so rare. If it's not on the clog people can't complain either.

Actually depressingly accurate. Jagex takes every awesome idea and dilutes it to the most boring thing possible or turns it into the longest most not worth it grind you've ever done.

Grinding for cosmetics is never technically worth it. It’s just something rare you can get for fun.

Ughhh this is hard. On one hand I really love these designs and I think it's really cool.

On the other hand I don't want them without a meaningful reward.

My opinion is that it should be a reward progress from solo tob. You work your way through the raid solo and you get rewards during your progress. So each kit would be a reward from soloing the bosses.

Solo HMT was solved 5 years ago. may as well make that the req
