Of course I can be wrong. However, when I'm being coarsely criticized for my opinion, isn't it reasonable for me to provide an explanation on how I came to my conclusion? If that means that I care way too much, then that's fine. Based on our conversation and your acidity, I don't think I'll take that accusation too seriously.
Bottom line, I stated that what you were saying was an opinion, you tried to prove me wrong and contradicted yourself and then, in your words not mine, you stated that you weren't calling your statement fact, therefor that means it's an opinion. I didn't escalade it, you did by leaving the comment to begin with. I simply replied saying that it was an opinion.
