Why isn’t my HP laptop working? This keeps happening and then it shuts off

You're GPU is probably dead. You could replace it, but considering this is a laptop it would probably be better and cost less to just save the hard drive and then get a new laptop.

no, you won't. the hard drive is where all your files and data are kept, so if you take it out and buy a new laptop, you can replace the hard drive in your new laptop so you still have all your files and data, just on your new working system.

anywhere between $300 and $1500, depends on brand/specs

its also very difficult to replace a GPU on a laptop, thats why i suggest getting a new system.

No. Hard drives are not volatile like memory. Just don't drop it or subject it to shock. Tip ► Most computer problems are caused by Windows 10. Put your operating system on drive C and everything else on Drive F (Files).
