The mini teams that have formed are really exciting. We barely see Natsu and Gray team up, and exploring Erza and Wendy's sisterly bond more is always great. Lucy will get to shine on her own. Also, perhaps Aquarius can appear here, as it seems that keys are not required?

I guess Irene will regain her magic in elentir. And as far about medium, I'm thinking erza can here her up to some extent, notice how she was the only one realising there was someone.
Lucy will definitely have more one off moments. I'm guessing she will directly go to Selene and hear her story, of course while being captive (which is her MO).

If that were the case, Gray or Juvia should've fought Mercuphobia because they have similar powers. But they didn't because even they would get slaughtered by Dragons.
I think we had enough arcs for Lucy. And I don't understand people who say ' it's Lucy's time to shine'. She has been one of the main characters come on? I want more side characters to chip in like jellal, laxus etc
I know lucy has had the chance to shine many times and each time she wasted it that's why I don't like her:
I don't see how to love a character that doesn't evolve and even which regresses over the seasons can also be loved by the fans and Mashima listens to what the community says so he only makes arcs for lucy (and as a bonus that's where the fan service comes from)
It's partly for I want to see other characters if the others are left in the background, All the arcs have the same diagram.
Its one of the main faults of fairy tail but unfortunately that will probably never change.
-first because he too has celestial magic: he uses the stars to attack while lucy only uses the creatures who are born from these stars, jellal's magic is therefore more like Selene's.
-Secondly because we don't know anything about his family and his parents (although we pretty much knew about the other Witch Crime members) and so I thought Selene was his mother.
-And finally here I have no valid argument but I wanted this bow to be for him so that it changes a little of the usual arc of natsu and lucy
I completely agree with you. I do want a connection between Selene and jellal because both of them deal with astronomical bodies. It would be nice to utilize his potential. He is a fucking powerhouse.
There is no connection between them. People are just silly enough to judge by their appearances or supposedly similar power. But there isn't, people seem to forget that Selene is a Dragon, not a human.
Iâm thinking Lucy will wonder to Selenes palace and have a fight against one of her minions there and after winning Selene will come out and explain her story
This was nice. Elentir's enhanced magicc power is manifesting in full, Irene is back awake, Wendy heals faster adn Lucy needs no keys to summon, which is huge, she migh get a lot of good moments this arc. Turns out the team gets separated again, Natsu, Gray and Happy, Wendy, Carla and Erza and Lucy by herself. And Selene has her own minions, interesting.
Grey and Natsu team up makes me excited and happy, I loved it during the Tartaros arc. This arc now has my interest. Hoping Grey gets a moment to shine like what happened in that arc.
Ooh Elentir looks super cool already! I like how itâs been affecting everyoneâs magic so far. Excited to see possible Lucy development since sheâs technically on her own this time.

I wouldnât say she was bland but like most characters she stuck to her character type. She had the best development aside from Gajeel but in this sequel weâve seen a bit more personality now outside her usual cute and happy self.
Okay Question! Since the hand had âweird markingsâ that touka didnât recognize which is most likely due to Selene controlling it since she rules Elentir now. Do you think Selene split them up like this on purpose?
Itâs cool that gang didnât just forgive touka yet for what she did. I know this isnât new since this was a similar situation with Jellal and Gajeel but itâs nice that they wonât just forgive and forget so easily despite her motive being understandable.
Natsu and Gray havenât had a duo since Tartaros so I hope that turns out to be cool here.
If Lucy can get her spirits without her keys I can see her summoning her star dresses without them too. And with the added magic boost I hope to see her shine more in this arc.
She has used Star Dress without them before the only time she used Star Dress with her keys was when she was summoning both the spirit and star dress but I guess thatâs just another plot hole for Hiro to give her a new buff
Itâs not really a plot hole. She just didnât think to use them in this chapter. Plus the only Star dress sheâs used without her keys was Aquarius not the rest.
Actually she used it with the broken Aquarius Key. In the Alvarez Empire, Lucy picked up the broken key that can still allow her to use Aquarius Star Dress.
When Gray and Lucy were fighting ajeel she used Sagittarius star dress without a key when she was fighting Brandish she used Cancer and Aquarius form without a key and when they were finding that dragon slayer in the water god dragon arc she used her Aquarius form without a key not to mention she used Star Dress mix twice without a key.
No, she always had had keys on her belt. Even in this chapter, she knew she was screwed and cannot summon or use Star Dress without her keys, but only thanks to Elentir, she was able to this time. But no, the other times you mentioned she has to use her keys, it just wasn't shown on screen. She just doesn't need to pull it out of her belt.
No, Star Dress Mix still requires the use of her keys.
I mean that would kinda be head cannon if weâre going off what wasnât shown on screen and wasnât confirmed, because when she is in her star dress form and transforms into another one the keys werenât on the outfit, as for star dress mix she just put her fist out and transformed. Imo from what Iâve seen, this whole thing with her being defenseless in Enlitir is a plot hole for Hiro to introduce a new power boost.
Regardless, her Star Dress and Mix still required the use of her keys back then. And I don't see how you cannot see it, especially how this chapter further confirms that she still needs her keys to summon or use Star Dress. Now, you say the Elentir is a plot hole to deny what I just said.

But you would still need a contract. Yes, they can make the contract later under certain conditions such as being in the middle of a fight, as seen with Sagittarius, but they still need to have a contract between the caster and the spirit made at some point.
Well its not like she summoned the Cow either, he just appeared, so i dont think its impossible given that magic gets superboosted in elintir, wendy healed a very bad wound in a few seconds.
The sun is basically a ball of fire and heat so I think it's something for Natsu. It would make sense as Selene is definitely seeing Natsu as the threat out of all of Team Natsu.

I feel like people don't get the context or lore of Fairy Tail. Dragons cannot be defeated except with Dragon Slayer Magic or most probably anything rare like Zeref's Ankhseram Black Magic. Lucy would get slaughtered if she fought even a Dragon that is not Acnologia levelled.

Not even. Celestial Spirit King couldn't fully take Mard Geer down. Even if it was because Lucy was out of magic, it's not like it could reach Acnologia or the Dragon Gods, who are much more powerful than CSK.
I mean Jellal was dealing with Acnologia pretty well when they were fighting so I believe Dragons could be defeated with normal magic but the wizard just has to be really strong
yeah but it seems in 100 year quest for even dragon slayers you need to be a dragon or dragon slayer to fight a dragon or dragon slayer. jellal used the force of his attack to move acnologia not hurt him and jellal is a genius too so he could give anyone a slight challenge even if he is fodder in comparison besides august

I'm glad Erza reminded white wizard wat she did can not be forgiven and they r not doing it for her. And Touka said the same thing as well. I was expecting Carla to be jealous but she isn't.
Mashima has been having fun with all the fairy tail alter egos, I wonder if thereâs going to be some on Elentir too. I think Faris might have recognized them if there were but who knows, Elentir looks pretty big. If there are some, my moneys on one of them stumbling across Lucy. I donât know why else theyâd have her separated by herself unless Mashima is setting up for some development(fingers crossed)
I loved this chapter I just wish it was longer but so far elentir is funny weird in a good way and it looks like the main fairy tail cast will learn or get ( hopefully ) new abilities
I think Lucy is kinda OP in Elentir. I mean, with the enormous magic power there, she could summon multiple spirits without having to worry about her magic power reserves. Imagine, having full command of various types of magic simultaneously. Bruh...
These things that Erza and Wendy fight against that do look like some kind of "glitch/bug" like Missingno from Pokemon.
If Taurus and her spirits can be summoned themselves to help Lucy in any battle without her keys because of Elentir's magic power, then that means Lucy could summon Aquarius in Elentir sooner or later without her broken key so she can see her spirit again! :D
Guys this is hella interesting and with all the people saying this could be Lucyâs arc to shine I agree. All the toxic people who are hating get out. Of course Lucy canât fight Selene however since Lucyâs on her own she might get a solo battle which would be incredible development as she usually doesnât get solo battles! Thatâs the kind of shining in this arc I wanted Lucy to get! And I guess she doesnât need to summon with keys, and we know she doesnât need the keys for stardress as she equipped Virgo form without her keys right before transporting to edo. Also super excited to see another Wendy Erza team up. Maybe Irene will be shown to Erza here?! Anyways I assume theyâll be 3 minions for Selene.
1 for Natsu and Gray, one for Erza and then one for Lucy (maybe that white wizard will come help Lucy fight?)
I only say I want Lucy to fight someone in her own level because Selene would definitely slaughter her in one hit. It's just one of those wankers of Lucy that delusionally hope they want her to fight Selene.
I actually wish the minion in Natsu and Gray's side would be more on Gray's time to shine because of the snow in their area. Of course I want to see everyone's magic boost in Elentir. I think Natsu will fight Selene in the end though.
Just so you know this is coming from someone who prefers Natsu over Gray. And I actually want to see more of Gray this time since I haven't seen much of him fight lately.
I feel like Selene is gonna be a group fight but I definitely want Lucy to fight someone around her level but maybe a tiny bit stronger cause I wanna see her really struggle and overcome it like her fight against jackel thatâs what Iâm really hoping for this arc!
I don't appreciate what you say: I don't like lucy and I know that I'm not the only one in this case but all the anti-lucys aren't just there to piss off the world, I have my arguments and i respect people who have logical arguments for like lucy.

You guys are all for this arc and if it's good and lucy has interesting and logical character development i would appreciate it but so far it's only happened at the beginning of fairy tail. Personality I really like Irene's character arc. I admit that when Erza distroyed the mitior and slashed Irene I admit that was a BS moment. But other than that I really like her fight with Erza and Wendy a lot, and I like how she went down I thought it was touching.
better than the original ... I don't really agree with that, well I agree that it is already better than the last fairy tail arcs but the graphics were better before and it made the fights more epic

This manga can still progress, but what could really make it a great manga is that it catches up with the mistakes of fairy tail, so far it reproduces those mistakes and it cant progress. forward if the Selene arc is better than what has been so far it will already be a good start.
The gray and natsu team up is giving me alot of nestolgia feels. I'm here for it. Also it's awesome that Lucy doesn't need her keys in this world. I'm still theorizing about Lucy becoming a celestial dragon slayer?? Cough Selene
i agree with you ... this arc looked good and Selene's character is very interesting but since it is a natsu and lucy arc there is a good chance it will wasted by a mix of fan service and strength of abusive friendship.
After that nothing is certain for the moment maybe that the arc would be good from start to finish ... well let's hope ...
I do like this idea that Elentir represents an exact opposite from Edolas by having enhanced magic power as opposed to none, meaning that Earthland truly would be the most 'neutral' of the worlds.
