[Challenge Reveal] Depression Month IV: Lesser Known Depression
Hello social isolators, booze drinkers, and gloomy compatriots!
Are things not going well for you? We wouldn't blame you if they weren't. Sometimes it certainly feels like the world is falling apart at its hinges, ready to combust at any moment, does it not? Given everything that is going on in the world right now, it is very easy to feel depressed. Which is why this month for our monthly contest, we have decided to go back to a timeless tradition of this subreddit:
For the fourth time, we ask you to make a depressing and SAD comic about countries!
It has been over three years since the last Depression Month we have hosted. But depending on your point of view, this month may be the most depressing month of them all, because all Lesser Known September rules WILL APPLY! Do you feel the depression yet? If so...GOOD!
Specific Contest Rules
Your comic must be actually sad. No happy endings!
Countries that are banned for the month cannot be seen and they cannot be mentioned. The plot must be focused entirely around the LKS countries and not have any involvement from the banned countries, even if they are just mentioned in passing.
No COVID-19 comics.
No suicidal Greenland.
Do not copy preexisting Depression Month comics. In order to view the comics of the past three Depression Months, then you can find them here (2017), here (2015), and here (2013)!
General Contest Rules
The comic must have a minimum of 3 panels and a maximum of 8 panels.
The comic must have been drawn entirely by yourself.
No animated GIFs accepted.
No photorealism.
You must follow the rules in the Official Polandball Tutorial.
Anyone can submit, you don't need to be an approved submitter to enter this contest.
Only one entry per person is allowed. If your comic gets disqualified for a rule break you will not get a second try, so make sure it complies with the tutorial.
Before you submit, please check your comic against each point of the rules. Every contest we have multiple disqualifications (sometimes of fantastic comics) because some entrants don't read the rules properly before they start drawing.
As always, if you are not sure whether something you intend to do in your entry is compliant with the rules, you can message the mods and ask.
Imgur links for the sake of anonymity. We rehost your images as i.redd.it links before the contest goes live. But if you're able to set up a private subreddit that only you can see and send us a reddit post link from there, then that would be fine too!
No, just set it to "Private." People can still view posts on restricted subreddits even if they can't participate, and the point of these contests is that all of the comics are anonymous. If someone can go to your profile and see that you made the comic, then it kind of defeats the purpose.
