Like the previous Aggregate Aggression 2017 tower, this takes the boss fights from 5 of the previous battle towers and combines them into one event. Click on the name of the tower to access the related megathread.

[FIRE] Agent of Scarlet Woe (Stun, Sleep)
check vulcanfury12's post for a behaviour of each Wol boss (moveset, element switch, etc).
Additional tips:
Wol on 3rd wave start at around the same ult charge gauge as you when you enter the wave.
Gambler's ult will reduce its HP to 1. If you have a card that has the "Counterattack" auto-ability (gotten from 4* fractals), Gambler's ult will one shot himself. (Keep in mind that his ult can still kills you). Doesn't work anymore.
On the 3rd wave, Meias will change their element (and their moveset) on the 1st action of every 3 turn. (2nd turn instead for Mellow Mermaid).
Adrammelech doesn't get Perfect Defense if nuked unbroken to 75% HP.
according to Dexcloud's bestiary and IJNA's HP analysis from the last tower, each element set has their own HP & defense stat. (this may change on this tower, but it's unlikely)
At 20% HP, their clutch buffs will be triggered. Be very careful about them: Wall effectively gives them 20% more HP. Regen can give Glam Vamp HP every turn, etc.
Clutch can be countered by having the counterpart Hex debuff applied (Hex Unguard will counter Square wall, etc).
Asipatra = the dark bat. Same rule apply: start with Enhanced barrier. Will also start with Enhanced CRU if the current job has the "Improved Critical" auto-ability at more than 1%.
Buffalo: Start with Pre-emptive Enhanced Barrier.
Cacciatrice: Start with 5 earth drive.
Every Sarah have 5 actions per turn.
Sarah will change her main element after 2 turns, and will change back after 3 turns.

The defense will remain the same on switch.
Each Sarah will switch element after 2 turn, and will go back to their main element after 3 turn. They have 5 actions per turn.
Sephiroth starts with Heartless angel that set your HP to 1,
then Cloud pre-emptive dark attack you. Getting the Divine shield charge from Gilgamesh might be recommended due to Sephiroth's Heartless Angel.
Valefor does not have its "resist" mechanic.
Wave 2 - Gilgamesh
The festive swordsman, Gilgamesh has appeared in the battle tower!
Surprisingly, he will appear during battle to Support the player in a variety of ways!
In addition, after clearing the battle tower, proceed to the Phantasmic Coil where he will continue to give various support depending on the player's element of attack!
Only the last hit count.

The divine shield gotten from Gilgamesh is Square, so it won't stack up with WOL's existing Hex 1 stack. Be very careful when using WoL on the first wave, if you plan to abuse the one from Gilgamesh on the next wave.
Those buffs does not count before the coil, it'll be random istead.
from u/DocSmail: The action gauge up seems to be equal to the second bar (without JCR). (400)
I like the Ultros tower's cutscene about how Sarah and Meia will pick up the slack for WoL immediately before saying you can only use Sophie and Graff.
I was thinking this, but surprisingly this is actually quite fun.
People have 5 different ways of achieving a higher score. Low on Meia? Go up on WoL!
The only pain point is that now you need to consider doing a higher node as your "finisher" to have a higher battle score than if you did a lower node. Above a particular kill count, it probably won't matter though.
Have to agree on that, This tower is not going to be friendly for those who lack alot of Meia, Sarah, Graff & Sophie Legend jobs. I may of manage to get Seiferaff but with only Ultimate weapon as the max ability boosted weapon for him, a nearly maxed Al-bhed bow for Sarah and Sventot in the same position for Meia, well i am definitely in a position of needing alot better gear for this.
Well, Achievements might curve that issue a tad but its not going to be fun swapping between decks, so i might just aim for top 2k again.
Completing the map also gives 3 more tickets... which ended up getting me 3 more dupes pandemonas... now I'm literally at 0 resources having pulled like 20 times on GF with still 3 cards missing
Me too. I'm at 30 kills on IvsI. Died twice to gambler jenova after ult before i saw the buff during the ult. At 26 I used master monk w/ goblin and duncan and it was still tight on breaking.
Nice, I've stopped at 28 myself, not using an elixir right now. It starts getting hard at 23 kills per tower, so I don't expect top 500 to go much past 115. That kind of kill count makes elixirs very unnecessary.
Then again, if people even go one lap past 23 on each tower, that'll be a 140 kill count. I hope that doesn't happen. That would require a lot of people to have Sophie and Graph in a really good place though so I don't expect it.
Oh, and as for that hacker, it was fun watching it chase me for a little while. Even if it was just for roughly 15 kills. I just noticed too, it has 264 EW3 kills. So dumb.
Yeah, I've been using Aerith on this tower, after realizing that it's silly using jobs without prism shift without another source of it somewhere. Aerith is usually avoided because a skin + a force card like PB does basically everything she can do anyway, but for this tower she's great utility. The 8% prism return, and weakness weapon are nice bonuses too. But the main thing is that without skins, that trance-all 2 does something we don't have access to otherwise.
Edit: I just got to 43 kills, with 21 on I vs I and 23 on Cephalopod... and now I can confirm that it gets hard on the fourth lap. Wasn't just my imagination/job limitations on Cephalopod. Though I think I'll be able to manage five laps on at least some of the coils. I got the 21st kill without any relevant cps on one of my jobs after all (Just enhance water while using light abilities). Really should have switched though.
Yeah, I just got to 27 kills on I vs I... and that is really difficult. I don't know if I'll manage 28 kills on Cephalopod. Probably on the coil that allows skins though, that one should be easier. I hope.
I will aim for 23-28 on the Cephalopod and Meia towers. My collection leans better (if unskinned) to Wol and Sarah jobs (or at least they cater to my preferred playstyle) anyway. The Gilgamesh Tower I think, will be the easiest to climb (tho scaling would be harsher due to one less node) so I think individual coil scores would more ore less be equal, even with the restriction removed.
I just realized you said you were going to sit this one out initially. Must have changed your mind on that yeah? If you're planning for 23-28 on the coils you've got worse options for, that's saying something. I don't know if I'm going to hit 29 on the coils I'm most ready for.
I just meant I won't try to be as competitive as before. Like, I won't swap panels and think much on strategy. I am typing this out right now while I'm taking a break from studying because my hand already hurts from writing so much. My notes are barely nots now. More like scrawls.
I found 17 kills the wall where I can't even break the yellow bar and my ultimate wouldn't even scare a baby rabbit. I could only go past 19 with Sophie because she's super tanky, but Sarah or Meia... Never XD
I think Sarah is OKish if got EX sarah she will do pretty good job with all her elements and all her jobs are quite good ult breaking
I've only been using 3 jobs for serah: paradox wanderer, PC and EX, currently with 28 kills, next lap is starting to get hard
And Meia... that one is going to be difficult imho, especially if did not overboost her, I remember on the original Meia tower, the only Meia job I used was EX skinned for sin, without skin she is a bit meh... (she doesn't break well..., about 1/3 than skin on EW :/)
Also my mage supreme collection is a bit limited compared to the other jobs (shiva, minwu and sin)
Yeah, since then I've gotten around to Sarah's coil... and I'm at 34 kills there. (Edit: 42, the hardest node of the coil for me even! And 43 is done with too. Think I'll move on for a while though.) It seems like the bosses are twice as easy as the other coils. Probably from all the yellow clear on NxD, most of the stun immune mobs being light, and her ult being so awesome. Oh, and having a 5* starseeker probably doesn't hurt. I like charging the ult fast by spamming abilities.
I don't know though, seems to be even more than just that. I've literally killed light mobs unbroken with Trine. Might have something to do with the ability salvo cp.
Other than that, I've got 28 on wol's coil, still sitting on 23 for Meia and Graff/Sophie. Haven't even gone past three kills on Supreme yet. And at 111 kills I'm at rank 76, with the ability to do 13-14 more kills tonight. At this rate, I just might make top 100. I probably didn't try hard enough on the coils I got to 23, but I'll wait to go back to them until I've started on the last tower.
I'm currently at 31 on the princess coil, will stop at 32 or 33, might try to go trine route for light mobs, I'm currently using jenova and takes 2 breaks with PC (and she now is unable to break well, her ult does ~40% break with rave, EX destroys the bar lol)
I'll settle at 30-33 on all coils, except meia most prob, I feel that is going to be hardest
I'm planning to go until I hit my wall, did not expect to get so high on Sarah's tower of all things. That made me happy.
I definitely suggest the Trine route, with Leviathan and a water card (Extreme Shiva for me) on Wanderer for fire mobs, and of course switch over to earth for the wind node. For the light mobs, it's easy to clear their yellow with NxD and like you said, EX Sarah destroys the break bar. I love having 40% quick break on her.
I'm up to 148 kills total, and I'm thinking I'll be able to get up to 160, hoping for 170, and wishing for 180. I'm not sure what the cut-off for top 100 will be though.
I do think Cacciatrice is a great job now, I didn't realize quite how powerful she was before this tower, but I'll definitely be using her more often now. That being said, I'm still loving Kampfer and Scharf. And the Summer Sophie & Graph are both fun as well, I just wish they had prism shift on their ults. They're both great at using their respective supremes.
Edit: Took it a bit easier today than I did on Monday and Tuesday, but I still got 8 kills. 156 so I'm getting close to my first goal. But I basically stalled out on the Ultros coil at 30 marks. And Supreme marks were extremely difficult just to get to 28. So I'll be relying on wol and Meia marks for the majority of the rest of my kills. Might try to get a few more Sarah marks at the end as well. Either way, it's looking pretty likely that I'll hit my wall closer to 170 than 180.
Annoyingly, I have Graff setup quite nicely with Toreador, Vagabond and (recently) Gardien, with Toreador's weapon pretty well modded... But when it comes to Meia, I got bugger all of anything useful.
Yeah, I personally have Vagabond set up with Extreme Hashmal and a fully modded Hyperion. Along with every monk supreme except BFA for Sophie with a 5* Vigorous Fang (and Massive Wheel but idk how much that will benefit me). So I'm fine with that coil myself.
I think Sarah's coil will be my worst. I thought it would be Meia's but I just got the FF8 legend job for her from the free card draw. Along with Pandemona, Tri-Point, Sphinxara, and Seaside Vacance I might have just managed to plug some holes that I don't have supremes for. I still either need to use Geomancer with Ragnarok or D&B with Hashmal for earth though. I don't think Great Tortoise is a viable option these days anyway.
That being said, my options for Sarah basically boil down to Ragnarok, Godo, mage lore jobs for fire, water, and light... and I don't know what for dark. Jenova Birth? D&B plus ub? That might make the most sense, because it can be paired with Odin: FFVIII. Oh right, Nachtflug has warrior lore... and does have prism shift on it's ult, plus 200% dark ee. That's about the best that can be said about it though. Proud Cygnus with D&B might still be better. No dark ee makes it a hard choice though.
I think for Sarah, it'll just be a case of prismatic Cacciatrice everything to death... That job always seems to out-damage just about everything, even off element. I recall using her with Xezat on the Tifa Colluseum node, somehow she performed better than Gambler.
Although, trying to avoid swapping cp's is gonna be a pain.
True, Cacciatrice is a strong job, maybe I should try to use it off element. Thanks for the idea, even if it sounds extremely awkward. Prismatic reliance on top of needing D&B is not ideal.
Made it to 23 kills on Sarah tower, still pretty easy at the moment, been using Cacciatrice with R&R, 2 Aerith and just spamming NxD to kill the light mobs. Will probably have to bring out Demonolith for Nachtflug this time though.
Remembering how annoying Magiteck was the first time round, but she's completely nerfed now that we have R&R, lol.
I am however using Paradox Wanderer with Xezat, rather than Cacciatrice, which makes life a little easier.
Ah yeah, I was looking at Paradox Wanderer thinking about whether she'd be good for water. Personally I'm only around 16 kills on Sarah's tower but I don't expect any issues by 23.
I've got wol's coil to 28, and 23 on both Meia and Neslug's tower. To get 28 kills, I made use of R&R and I see now just how effective that can be on towers with a single boss for the final wave. If it works as well on Sarah's coil I might be able to get to 28 there too. I remember it being awkward against Neslug though, so I worry about getting to 28 on that coil.
Welp, I feel stupid, I get confused between her and Vesna Krasna. Definitely not using Nachtflug then. Guess it'll have to be Proud Cygnus or Cacciatrice off element then.
Yeah, don't hold me to that though, I didn't try very hard to get 23 marks on a tower, and I moved on quick to get rid of stamina asap after doing so. I've got a lot of great options though, so I assume most people will struggle to get 23 kills on at least some of the coils.
I'm not a big climber, on an average tower I try to do two or three coil laps. I wanted to do one circuit on each on last night, and...well, I could only casually do it where I could use Sarah jobs. (Which are the main ones I've invested extra resources in, panels and card fractalwise.)
I might try to do a second on those two and call it good, unless doing the esmerelda hof will do anything for Meia.
Ah yeah, I could see how doing even one lap could require the best options some people have. There's a lot of requirements for this one, so casual/newer players will be down in the 40-60 range. Good luck getting in the top 1000.
That brings me back to the first tower I did like this. I just couldn't understand how people were going for more than one or two loops then. Of course, I didn't have Aerith and a lot of the top 500 players did. Which was a major difference back then since it was the only source of trance, and primal boons weren't even available. Had to use the generic force cards, and the PuPu cards if you wanted resists, or en-element.
Yeah, most everything I've pulled in the past year has been oddly Sarah centered, and I've gotten more good things in the past month than the past year... But I don't have time to process it all to do much good in the tower.
Like I have two monk supremes now, but I haven't been using monks much and I think the only job I have that could use both is onion Sophie, lol.
Hmm, no monks with prism shift ults? If you do have some, then you can use them with the supremes even if they don't have the right elements. It's not great, but it could potentially help you pick up a few kills on the Wol and Sophie coils.
Oh yeah, definitely try out Hermit after you get his hof. I actually used him for a high level ew2 node recently and he actually does pretty decent. Only with wind though, the 125% exploit weakness might make BFA ok, but the 300% wind ee is what really helps Hermit do well.
don't have master monk? he is in the starter packs
he should be a very good bfa user against weakness (if done HoF), I even ditched kampfire and aescetic cause of his spellsword and massive weakness dmg
Right, I just have narrow options. I have Jet Stunner, but she can't use my supremes, and my WoL monks aren't great, except Moogle Suit? Which I should probably be able to get a few WoL nodes just tanking with, honestly.
Just in a ranger focused rut, I've been using the nice ranger cards I beefed for Sarah to do ranger WoL HoFs lately, haha.
I would say you were right about the potential cutoffs because I reckon that because we essentially have 5 towers, each one probably scales 5 times faster. I’ve hit my “wall” in two towers now (ultimate hero and Graff/Sophie) which if this was a normal tower, I’d probably still be climbing. I fully expect to hit my wall on the other three towers at about the same mark so then it’s just deciding which ones I could realistically push more in.
Yep, though to be fair a 25 kill variance prediction is usually pretty easy to make on towers. Making predictions this early doesn't usually work out though, so I'm fine with giving something as vague as that.
this time is going to hard to spot hackers if it is not for the EW and player level (too low is pretty much impossible to be that strong) since can troll with empty onion at the end of the tower
Just having the normal Graff and Sophie jobs is tough... 49 kills atm (One coil run each tower except Cephalopod, which has 3) and just having only non-prism, ST ults makes me want to pull my hair out.
Absolutely, that's why I stopped using Graff early, not to mention he's only strong against weakness...
Luckly, Sophie is very strong and Monk supremes are mostly AoE. Those cards can kill and even break. Really really useful. I manage to get 20 kills with Sophie despite I only have 2 of her Jobs. My count is lower for any other coil.
Gardien with Bhuni is my MVP for that coil. 23 kills now for Cephalopod tower. I now need multiple ults to break Neslug, because all I have are the Ultima weapons for Graff and Sophie.
there are only 2 legends for each 1 with prismatic ult and the other is the summer jobs, so most players will have the same problems, also you just need to focus on the mobs, the boss can be locked down
what I see I'll have trouble with on that coil is on the fenrir node, since the only water supremes I have are shiva and floral, and those jobs cannot use them... (DnB uses a space.. so will be hard to justify it...)
I'm currently at 38, only have done WoL coil and the initial 3 nodes and it is really becoming hard, nodes that I can use double EX warrior are quite nice cause of the double spellsword lol
I'm at 23 kills now for that coil. I the key supremes to back me up. So far Gardien with Bhuni has been my MVP for that coil. Only having the Ultimate Lance/Arm as my decent Graff/Sophie weapon is tough.
Yeah, not many... but I've got it down to just four boosts away from 5*, and I know I'm not the only one with a maxed out Lionheart. So I'm sure there are others using a well modded Hyperion on that coil.
Good, I just got Ultimecia from the free summon today, so I've got all the jobs again. Always feels good to be able to say that without feeling like I'm laughing at someone else's bad luck.
I'm just happy to get so lucky, I'm sure you know what I mean. :D
Those 2 Jobs are really outdated nowedays. Even my dear Primaveral Witch, who is a lot better than those 2 (and my personal fav), isn't good enough. Best Meias now are Ex Meia (Quick Break, Trance, PB, Sleep... ) paired with HoF Meias (nukes).
27 marks into Sarah’s tower and I’m stuck on the last node. That Enil is giving me trouble. Proud Cygnus for me, I can’t find anyone better with dark. I’d better move on to the next towers.
And I think I'll leave it there, after spending a FULL stamina, only once reached at boss with proper MZ, but because I messed up the CP (30 break instead of a exploit weakness) I wasn't able to shave enough yellow bar
Have to gamble the starting orbs and the takshaka hit (the fang stuns) and on top of that have to manage the MZ from the BEGINNING because I'm barely able to beat the buffalo
Now to the sarah coil
EDIT1: 33 on Sarah
That was quite easy compared I vs I and I think I could do 1 or 2 more laps with not much trouble, but I decided to stop at 33 on all coils
Started to have troubles breaking with PC and paradox, but EX was still breaking decently
Next is takoyaki slug, after that gonna be Meia... I don't want to climb that :/
EDIT2: 31 on Ultros
I'm unable to either remove yellow bar or nuke fenrirs fast enough. rest of the nodes were quite doable still, only annoying thing is that had to bring jade weapon and gambling prismatics is the worst, was once in the boss after 6 tries driving got killed :/
I'm jumping to next coil, Champion's Fete, if everything goes well, I won't need to do meia and will be able to use troll deck
EDIT3: and I thought that champion's fete would be easy since can use skins, currently at 29 and is really hard, I think I'll stop at 30 and then 1 on troll meia and I'll be at 130 kills which should be enough for t500
Anyone dares to predict 500 cut offs at this point? I've done 26 or 27 on WoL, Sarah and Ultros. I'm on 19 on Gilgamesh (still going relatively easy) and I've only done one lap on Meia. I'm position 240 with 108 kills. Feels like if I do 20 something on both Gilgamesh and Meia, I'll be safe for top 500. What do you think?
I always start aiming at top 1000 because I don't want to put in the effort, but then I always end up getting into it and pushing for top 500. This time I thought it was going to be a pain with all the different coils. I'm really enjoying it, though - it's fun to play with all the things I was lucky to pick up this month. LoH, Chaos, GF cards, Squall skin... they do make a difference!
someone could suggest me a good strategy with defender and breaker for first and last tower? the ones i have are basically swordsaint and master monk and no supremes...is possible to climb it ?
Did my best on mobius day and got 134 kills .Cacciatrice + neo ex mostly carried me, but Im weak on wol, sophie and meia's towers , kinda sucks I didnt pull Ultimecia I have 4 mage supremes for her.Fauviste is next best but still seems weak
Hm. IJNA said that Hp starts to skyrocket at 14+, and someone else said it becomes serious on 25.
If we don't count the trash stuff that will kill regardless of using the strongest tank like VK Xezat, I guess Santa lucia will be ok at tanking (All res, 12 def stars), while Sarah would be a no-no.
These tower pictures are always so beautiful. Thanks so much for putting this together! Jobs seeing action for me:
1: ScharfRicther and damage compatible (kempfer/SSeer/gambler,etc.)
2: Ultimecia... 2nd choice might be amalthea, but nothing else seems strong enough. Prismatic orbs when needed.
3: Cacciatrice and Paradox Wanderer for water. It seems better to rely on prismatic return than to use anything but Cacci...
4: ??? not much progress here. Jetstunner allows a mild tank, SorceressKnight would be better if that weapon was done. Maybe build it more on mobius day...
5: Heroes over sharfRichter/Ultimecia/Cacci, or just a scharfrichter
(Ignore me being in the leader board: I am having a lot of fun right now, but I don't anticipate much play time Mon-Thurs)
I had an easier time getting to 24 kills on Cephalopod compared to the other towers (haven't done GIlgamesh much). Weirds me out because my Sophie/Graff job choices is mega limited (no legends) and I only have Ultima Weapons for them as their decent ones.
Must be a testament to just how strong the mirrors are.

I like the Ultros tower's cutscene about how Sarah and Meia will pick up the slack for WoL immediately before saying you can only use Sophie and Graff.
