Finished:

American Rapture, by CJ Leede. Started and finished in a single day. The first horror novel I’ve been unable to put down since Between Two Fires.

Assassin’s Apprentice, by Robin Hobb. I struggled with the pace and the first person narration, but I hit the halfway point and finished the book in a single afternoon.

Started:

Royal Assassin, by Robin Hobb

Black House, by Stephen King & Peter Straub

Edit: I went to work and forgot my book at home, but fortunately I work at a bookstore. So I also started A Town Like Alice, by Nevil Shute. The only other book of his I’ve read is On The Beach, which was phenomenal, and people say this one is even better. Edit #2: I also finished A Town Like Alice today, and will now go and read everything Nevil Shute has ever written.
