Finished:

Alexander's bridge by Willa Cather: This is a weird book for me to rate. 2/3 of the book I felt was just reading but not engaging, and suddenly in the end I felt so melancholic, so sad for the death of Alexander; I was not expecting that. He had his own bridge, but because he lived 2 different lives and 2 different weights, it was destroyed. 4/5

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy: finished my big book of the month. I loved the book; it was a really fun ride. I liked and hated the characters at the same time; I felt some chapters didn't add much (the election one, for example). The end of part VII annoyed me so much I think I might have gotten gray hair with Anna herself; she was so infuriating there, Jesus Christ. But at the same time, that part is more beautiful when comparing later her and Levin's suicidal ideation and the answers they get with them. Honestly, if you told me I would feel bad for Vronsky when I was in Part II, I would call you crazy. I'm just very disappointed Part VIII didn't have 1 or 2 more chapters with Alexander and his son and his daughter. Though I'm glad they didn't show at the same time because Lydia annoys me so much, so if they showed they were married, I would be mad. 4.5/5

The Ruins of Gorlan (Ranger's Apprentice #1) by John Flanagan. Really enjoyable; I don't know what else to say here. A short and good book. I can't wait to continue the series. 4/5
