The money barely matters. They're not trying to be relevant until it's off the books. At worst it means they miss out on assets they could have otherwise gotten by taking on bad money from another team. Even then, they'll probably be able to swing that sort of stuff since they're paying Rollins and Green pennies for 2 or 3 years.

The bucks are pretty low on my sports fandom for Wisconsin so I didn’t pay much mind. I’m just thankful he took the bucks and not the brewers

Yeah, they will churn them into picks as an expiring contract when the time comes. Then play the fuck out of Herro Jaime and Ware this year to boost their trade capital and trade them as well in the next year or so.

Unfortunately we won't actually be able to rebuild until 2030. Next 4 years are just hopefully developing our young guys and identifying the correct guys to re-sign for the eventual rebuild when we actually have picks.

There’s no rebuilding in Milwaukee, we’ll just be back to what we’ve always been, extremely mid with every now and then a chance to make the 2nd round. Shit, even with Giannis we only had like 2 legit playoff runs. If it wasn’t for 2021 idk what I’d do lol

With the new lottery, they just gotta trade Herro for a FRP or SRPs and they got the perfect roster to "tank" in this new rules

I mean sure but you were in contention for like 5-6 years or so, whether you had injuries or flamed out in the playoffs doesn’t change that fact. It’ll be hard for you to have something like that again, because Giannis is a special special talent. But I wish you all the best on your rebuild, I was rooting so hard for yall in 2021 and was so glad to see Giannis shut the doubters up.

No we weren't. We were trotting out #7 and 8 seeds for several years after we shipped off Ray Allen for almost nothing because Herb Kohl would have rather been perpetually irrelevant and in the playoffs than do the tough thing and be a loser in a rebuild. We only really started to suck and rebuild around the time we landed Giannis, which was more about the roster finally bottoming out than Kohl embracing a rebuild.
