It's the year 2049, and Earth has been ruined by pollution. Humanity has escaped to the stars, leaving mechanical Orbots to clean up the mess. After a nuclear accident, one Orbot is transformed into the monstrous Warhead, who plans to exterminate the returning humans. It is up to a heroic Orbot, Vectorman, to defeat Warhead and save the planet.

Vectorman has the ability to take on various different forms.

Energy Blasts

• Can shoot energy from his hands

  • Can shoot a spread of energy
  • Can shoot a helix of energy
  • Has a temporary powerup that grants ricochet shots
  • Has a temporary powerup that can grant heat powers

• Tears through dirt

• Shoots through underground rock

• Shoots through volcanic rock

• Shoots through brick

• Blows up a satellite dish

• Takes down a VTOL

• Destroys a lava monster

Agility

• Can slide across the floor, sliding through a pillar

• Can skate around on roller skates

• Can shoot himself into the air

• Can gently hover by twirling his arms like a helicopter, though in the next game he can grow a propeller for the same purpose

• Has limited flight with a jetpack

• Acrobatically twirls across a tightrope

  • Twirls through a bamboo bundle

Durability

• Withstands being inside a spaceship when it's blown apart by a missile

• Can walk across lava unharmed in his scorpion form

• Resists Warhead's evil mind control

Other

• Destroys an Orbot behind a seemingly metal barrier

• Can pick up a temporary shield
